At the moment my Sim has the Opportunity called "Outflanking The Military" which requires me to become Friends with Nancy Landgraab. Only problem is, we're already Friends - Old Friends in fact.I've already tried interacting with her to see if it would detect a Friend-or-better Relationship status and trigger the next stage/completion of the Opportunity, but that hasn't worked. Another option I've considered trying is lowering their Relationship status until they aren't Friends anymore and then rebuilding the Relationship but that's a huge time waster and I was hoping I wouldn't have to go through that heartbreak (my Sim is Overemotional so any negative moodlets will really get to her).
It would be awesome if anybody had a solution to this problem. It would be a massive help if anybody knew a solution that wasn't lowering a maxed out Relationship bar. :-(
