The talking shower, what a laugh! David is awesome, never had a fairy with those traits before, I can tell it was a lot of fun to play him.

I spend the days leading up to the wedding trying to get enough cash together to buy the nectary, so I could put a wedding arch in.



Wouldn't let me throw a party there, but that didn't keep me from throwing everyone into the motive mobile and heading over.



And everyone who happened to be there came down for the ceremony, so it ended up being quite a party after all.



Including young Denise O'Reilly.

Okay, 1) Aren't you a little young to be hanging out at the nectary of all places? and 2) How are you a child already, you were born like, a week ago.  Stupid random townie aging.



David's sappy wedding face is adorable.



Marian, I never imagined how amazing it would feel to be loved by a vampire.  But now, my only wish is for you to sink your teeth into me, every day, for the rest of our lives.

Oookaaay... little creepy, there, guy.



Ah, well, they're still a couple of cutie pies.



And they weren't the only ones who would find a bit of romance that evening.



Jordan's getting right to work making some more fairyboos.



The nectary turned out to be really nice for a wedding.  Nice open area with stereo for dancing, drinks readily available



And of course, beds upstairs for when the happy couple decides to sneak off from the festivities.



But is there trouble in paradise?  Because back home these two will not stop trying to flirt with each other.  So far I've always managed to catch it before it gets past "compliment appearance", but seriously guys, knock it off.

And lets have a round of applause for David.  He finished his requirements a mere 25 days after his YA birthday (not counting his 6 days vacation), by far the quickest so far in this dynasty.  If only all my sims could be this easy...

With David's requirements done, it was almost time to try for baby.  But first, *drumroll*

Basement.  Once an heir finishes their requirements, any skill equipment goes downstairs in their personal "skill bubble".



And now it's time to try for baby.



I'm not taking any chances this time, so I added some fertility treatment to Marian's viewing regimen.



And it worked! Marian gave birth to twin girls (not pictured): Ciara is an excitable, easily impressed fairy, and Naomi is an insane, neurotic vampire.

Okay, this will be interesting.

And Marian isn't the only one in town having nooboos.



Although I'm not sure driving a tour bus while in labor is the best idea.



Jordan, didn't I ask you to take her to the hospital?

Yeah, but she said that until I'm the one trying to squeeze a 7 pound ball of flesh out of my body I'm in no position to argue.

But while some lives come into the world, others are taken away (although I really wish it wouldn't go grabbing my camera focus every time a random zombie dies on my lawn...)

And we learn something important,

Toddler-hood is upon us.

Thanks! The "add a room here and there as you have more money/need more space" method never works out for me, I always end up ripping everything out and starting over.

aside from the hair, your vampboo looks a lot like Marian. Good luck with the girls!

Yeah, with the exception of Penny, my heirs have really ended up taking after their non-bloodline parent (including gen 5 who is currently a teen in my game).  Loving the variety.

Naomi's vampire skilling is a little inconsistent.  She's picking up the peg box at a normal rate,

At least she has her sister to keep her company along the way.

Okay, you girls are both desperately in need of new hairstyles.



Ciara got the angler trait on aging up; Naomi is going to be doing cooking and alchemy for skills so she'll need a source for fish.



Naomi rolled the frugal trait.  And really likes long sleeves.

Need to stay covered, protected from the sun.

Sun can't hurt you yet, kid.  Not till you're a young adult.

What if you're wrong?  I need to be prepared.  I covered up that icky mark on my neck, too.

Insane, neurotic vampire.  You're developing quite the personality, aren't you?

I like Naomi's idea of planning ahead and both of their styles.

As the girls kick off their childhood, Naomi gets a head start on becoming the family chef...



Ciara tries to convince her mother that flowers and bright colors are way better than dark and gloomy indoor rooms...

Now David always just did his own thing without a care in the world.  His daughter on the other hand, is a very different sort of insane sim.

Who are you yelling at?

The Thirst.  Mom says I'll start feeling the Thirst when I grow up, but I don't want to.  I can hear it talk to me sometimes.  It wants to make me drink from people, and hurt them.  I won't let it.  I won't!

You know, your mom drinks from your dad all the time, and he doesn't seem to mind.

Maybe.  But he's insane, like me, and I know we sometimes think things we shouldn't.

That was heart-breakingly adorable.  You're my favorite now.



Mason:  Don't worry.  When you grow up, I'll grow you plenty of plasma fruit.

Naomi: I don't wanna make you do that

Mason: Nonsense! We fairies love plants and gardening.  Well, except your dad, but he's always been kind of loony.



Naomi: Don't you dare talk about my daddy that way!  Is that what you think of me, too?

Mason:  No, no.  I'm sorry, I just... I forgot.



Naomi didn't have time to dwell on the matter; she had a field trip to look forward to.  Nice to see the girls in school with two of their... sort-of cousins?  No, I guess they'd be their several-times-great uncles.  The green one is Jeremie and the fairy is Ahmed.  I can't believe I remembered that.

Ciara: And we ran into Great Grandpa coming out of the theater with one of his girlfriends.

Naomi: I hope they didn't get hurt in there.  They were walking kind of funny.



OH!  Oh, my.  No, don't worry.  I'm sure they're fine.



Naomi: Everyday clothes for school.  Thanks for telling me, sis.

Ciara: I would have said something sooner, I just, I thought you knew.

Naomi: It's okay.

Well, Naomi, it's the last night of your childhood.  You age up tomorrow. 

And then the Thirst will be even closer.

But not until tomorrow.  Enjoy yourself tonight.

I'm not sure putting your arm through the chair is going to accomplish.  Still, this look is slightly more you.  You can have cake before your makeover.



She picked up the Adventurous trait.



And it was time to get to work on her cooking skill.



While Penny puts her old firefighting skills to good use after fireblasting her husband.

Naomi managed to secure a prom date with Carlton Bess, that auburn-haired kid down near the front of the limo.

But even as they danced that night, she knew what she would have to do.  She knew it had to end.



Naomi: So, it's 7.  7 for the dynasty, like the sculptures, or the paintings, or the gems.  7 life states.  But not yours.  So sorry, already got it.  Got it from the start.

Carlton: You're speaking madness.  What in the world are you talking about?  Are you insane?

Naomi: Of course I am.  Didn't you work that out when I came to prom in my gym clothes?



Carlton: It's all right.  Just calm down; we can get through this.

Speaking madness hadn't worked.  She'd have to pull out the big guns; reveal her darkest secret.



Naomi: Carlton, I think you should know, I'm a vampire.  Doesn't that frighten you? 

Carlton: Well, I'm not happy that you kept it from me, but no, I'm not afraid.  I want to be with you, even if I have to bleed a little.



Naomi: No, you don't understand!  We can't be together.  We just can't, okay!



And almost too soon, it was time for the girls to journey into adulthood, Naomi looking more excited than her last birthday.

If I can't avoid the Thirst, I'll just have to keep on fighting.



So the sisters battle for the title



of worst age-up outfit ever.



Ciara gets the Brave trait and some new orange duds.



While Naomi wraps up her "don't-wanna-be-a-vampire" complex with a nice set of Commitment Issues.

Good luck, Naomi! Hopefully she'll invent some food that vampires can eat besides plasma fruit and juice. Also, I just want to say she reminds me of Emelie Van Gould from MF. Vampire, loves pink, blonde, braids, part of the vampire counter culture (is in love with Waylon Wolff at the start of the game). I can't wait to see where life takes our bubbly pink vampire.
