Looking at the patch notes, it looks like they have fixed the twins issue (hopefully)

Looks like the abundance of twins was a bug which they've now fixed.

I've had three pregnancies, three sets of twins, and no fertility reward. Luckily it's on a Baby Boomer challenge, so yea for me! But I never had so many multiples in a Sims game. I don't know if the patch really fixed it. I haven't played much since the last patch...

I'm patched up, and still getting more multiples than not in my games. It's so bad I actually had to download a pregnancy controller mod to keep it under control.

I did go a couple of months without playing, though, and when I patched my game, it included the two most recent patches at once.  I don't know if that's why I'm still getting the multiples or what, but it's frustrating.
