You should be fine - 3 more weeks. :) I need to get my booty in gear too.

Yeah, but I can't really do anything at weekdays because of school.  :-\  So I'm relying on weekends, but I still seem to have a bunch of homework. Luckily I managed to get quite a bit done today. :)

I have finished with

Career Cap   2 x 1200 = 2400

6-9  1 level 8 = 600

Rewards  26 x 0.05 = 1.30

Final Multiplier  = 1 + 1.30 = 2.30

Total =  3000 x 2.30 = 6900

Better than I thought I would do.

I haven't started this challenge yet, but I've been playing some other households. It's funny that you say that things are changed after the new patch in regards to work progress (thus allowing people a do-over). I haven't experienced this at all. Perhaps that is why everyone who's redoing the challenge is only doing marginally better than the first try. Just a thought.

I think the speed at which the promotion bar moves is still the same (meaning- extremely slow), but now people don't have the bug where they get stuck with no promotions for a week or more even when every requirement is complete and the bar is in the green. It does seem like a minor fox, but can be a pretty big game changer for those who continually got the bug and had to wait 4 or more work days to get promoted even when they'd completed all the requirements.

I finished with:

2 career caps = 2,400

1 level 8 = 600
1 level 6 = 200

23 rewards = 1.15 +1 = 2.15

Total = 6,880

And now my poor little simmies will enjoy a well earned retirement!

This challenge was fun, then tedious, and then fun again!

So I capped 3 careers = 3600

1 level 8 = 600,

32 rewards = 1.6 + 1 = 2.6

Total = 10920

I started after the new "patch" and it still takes 4-6 days for my Sim to level up. I can spend the whole day doing what ever is required and the bar barely moves. Or my bar will be just a little under the full green and will stay like that for 2 days. I thought it was just me which is why I came on here to take a peek if others were having some problems too. Seams they are, thanks for the info.

Finally finished again! I did a smidge better, but not by much...

Careers capped (2) = 2400
Lvl 6 = 200
Lvl 7 = 400
Total = 600

Rewards (29) 1.45=1.00=2.45

(2400 + 600) x 2.45 = 7350

Total: 7350

I am so glad to have this challenge finished. It was better this time, though. I can't wait to hear how some people maxed out 3+ careers. :)

All done, this was fun but I wish I could do it again and not make all the mistakes I did :)

2 Careers Capped = 2 + 1200 = 2400

2 Careers at Level 6 = 200 * 2 = 400

39 Career rewards = 39* 0.05 = 1.95

2400 + 400 * (1 + 1.95) = 8260

I actually got exactly the same as Starsha

2 career caps = 2,400
1 Level 8 = 600
1 Level 6 = 200

2.15 Rewards

Total = 6880

That was fun.. Looking forward to the next one  :D

Wonderful challenge

2 x 12=2400

2 x 7=800

40 x .05=2 + 1=3

2400+800=3200 x 3=9600

thank you for the challenge

I am learning so much about the game

2 unique careers maxed. No 2nd jobs made it to level 6 or higher. 20 career rewards. So, if I'm not mistaken: 2400 * 2.00 = 4800
1200 + 1200 = 2400 and 20 * .05 + 1.00 = 2.00 meaning 2400 * 2.00 = 4800

Wee! :)

I did two practice runs for this challenge, and I was still learning things even on my final.  My score ended up being the following:

4 Careers capped:  1200(4) = 4800
1 Sim finished at level 7 and the other at level 8 on the final career:  400+600 = 1000
56 Reward Objects obtained.  Multiplier percent is 100 + 5(57) = 380
Final Total is 5800(3.80) = 22040

Blown away by that score, Claymask! :o  Can't wait to see how people capped 3 or more careers!

2 Unique Maxed Careers: 1200 x 2 = 2400
1 Level 6: 200
38 Unique Rewards: 38 x 0.05 = 1.9 + 1 = 2.9 Multiplier
Total: 2600 x 2.9 = 7540
