1 Career Capped - 1200
1 Level 9 - 800
15 rewards X 0.05 = 0.75
Total: (1200 + 800) X 1.75 = 3500

2 careers capped = 2400
1 career level 6 =200
1 career level 8 = 600
40 items x.0.05=2+1=3

2400+200+600=3200x3= 9600

That was hard work, I can't wait to see how people capped 2 careers per sim.

2400 - 2 Careers capped
+200 - 1 at Level 6
-----------
2600 Points
x 2.90 for 38 Objects (1+1.90)
-----------
7540 Points

I can not imagine how others capped 2 Careers for each Sim, let alone getting extra levels in others. Big congrats for pulling that off to you all who did so - I know it wasn't easy! It'll be interesting to hear the strategies that made this happen, and I'm sure to want to improve the Careers section because of what I learned from my own experience and others' findings. I came stupid close to one more Career level and thus another object as well, but a TS4 bug has your Sims leave work when they age up and the progress for that day doesn't count. I even had the check mark indicating a promotion but the bar goes back to where it was, and they lose all progress for working that day.  >:( Major bummer, but it wouldn't have made that big a difference I suppose.

Anyway, thanks to the Challenge Team for the fun that I had with this one. :D It turned Sims into a strategy game of sorts for me, and made it entertaining to think of how to best manage their time and what Careers/Rewards to pursue first. I didn't accomplish super efficiency, and certainly would have done some things differently had I known what I do now, but I had a lot of fun and I think that's the main point. Thanks for what you do, guys! I'm honored to have this tourney hosted here and look forward to doing another when I'm less strapped for time.

Brownie and Goldie Stars managed to finish in time, im impressed as time is not something I have much off, and energy not at all :) I can feel for these two workers, I think I am pushing myself just as hard at work as they did.

Score:
4 Careers maxed: 1200x4=4800
2 Careers at level 6: 200x2=400
50 Items collected: 50x0,05+1 =3,5

Total: 4800+400 = 5200 X 3,5 = 18200

This was a long frustrating challenge...I really felt they both should have mastered 2 careers, but too many things did not go my way. Ah well. In the end the wife had 19 traits, she was a very interesting sim.

Both Sims mastered 1 career and made it to level 7 of a second career. 1200X2 + 200X4 = 3200
They earned 49 career rewards 49 X .05 =2.45 + 1 =3.45

3200 X 3.45 = 11040

Hehe my results were identical. Looks like quite a few players will end up with ties.

2 careers capped = 2400
2 careers at lvl 7 = 800
49 career rewards = 2.45 + 1.00 = 3.45

3200 X 3.45 = 11040

Not sure about the time for deadlines. And not sure on maths either.
But here is my result:
5 capped careers: 6000
1 level 8 career: 600
54 items

Total: 24,420

2 careers capped = 2400
1 level 6 = 200
41 rewards X .05 = 2.05 + 1.00 = 3.05 multiplier
Total 2600 * 3.05 = 7930

My Sims finished one career each.
1200 X 2 = 2400.
They received 35 unique physical career rewards.
35 x .05 = 1.75
1 + 1.75 = 2.75 multiplier.
2.75 x 2400 = 6600.

Final score 6600.  :D

This was a hard one, doesn't help that I didn't do much planning  :P

The Workaholics capped 2 careers + 1 to level 6 so that's 2600
They earned 38 career rewards for a multiplier of 2.9
Which if my math is correct should lead to a final score of 7540

Whew, now on to the Baby Boomers ;D

Well just like the last one I'm finishing just before the deadline. I feel I did a little better this time, at least. I definitely learned a fair bit and realized that I made some key mistakes, so I think I'm well prepared for next time. Assuming of course that I remember.

Anyway here's how my sims did:
They capped 2 Careers.
They made it to level 9 and 6 in two others.
And they collected 48 rewards.

So, 2400 + 800 + 200 = 3400
48 x 0.05 = 2.4 + 1 = 3.4
3400 x 3.4 = 11560 total

Posting right near the deadline...This took up a considerable amount of my time and I'm still annoyed I couldn't do any better.

1 career capped 1200
one level 9 800
one level 7 400
one level 6 200
totally 2600
41 rewards *0.05 = 2.05
Final score 2600*2.05 = 5330

Onwards and upwards with the next challenge  ;)

I didn't think I was going to get this one done - 11 sim days on high speed played out in less than 3 hours, which is really fast for me.   :)

Ace and Starr each capped a career (2400 pts.); Ace reached level 8 (600 pts) and Starr reached level 9 (800 pts) for a total of 3800 points.
They received 49 rewards items:  49 x .05 = 2.45, giving a multiplier of 3.45, and a final score of 3800*3.45 = 13,110.

Tried too many different strategies trying to "out-clever" the top bestest ever players here... oh well, didn't finish in time.

Comgratulations, Tixxis!  You're the only one who managed to cap more than four careers.  I wonder if you figured out something the rest of us didn't.
