I just saw this message pop up:

"It has been reported around town that Harry Marks had peed himself."

Darn papparazzi!  I knew I should have got him to the bathroom sooner.

Also, biting sims in public = front page of the tabloids.

I my 1 star celeb turned another sim in the vamp lounge, and gained the same moodlet.

Anyone else have any actions that give the moodlet?

I just noticed that if it was a false accusation, you can go to city hall and "Sue for Slander"  I also had this against my sim and it was false!  3 days of stressing over it, and I noticed the option to sue with 8 hours left on the moodlet.

edit:  after attempting to sue, I lost and had to pay legal fees.  If I had noticed it right away I may have not lost /shrug

It wasn't terrible, I was mocked a few times in public and got a second negative moodlet from it, but afterwards it feels like I am getting even more attention.  Have been asked for my autograph quite a few times since it cleared.

Do you may know if you now can hire those man (forgot the original English term) who guard the exclusive discos into your own property? It could be handy to kick-butt out some paparazy when they are sneaking in your sims backyard under the bathoom window when your sim takes a shower.

My sim has been accused of biting someone (true) and rummaging in garbage cans (I think this one is false). I sued for slander over the bite and won (about 8k) and paid 2k in legal fees.

I think you can buy one of those barriers for any door and the guard (aka a bouncer) will automatically appear.

EDIT:  The barrier ropes are Commercial objects, so you can't buy one for your home.

It's now getting a little silly.  I have now been accused of peeing in public, getting arrested and rummaging in garbage cans.  None true, and I have lost every lawsuit I have tried.  One thing I did notice, if you run around introducing yourself to people then tell them that the claims are false, the original 3 day moodlet starts to drop, after one evening I was down to about 6 hours from the full 3 days.

Early on my sim started a fight with someone (I wasn't paying attention at the time), before she was famous and I wonder if thats why its happening so much...  All three of the accusations were in one sitting, over about an hours playtime.

 I think the word you are looking for are Bouncers - which guard the clubs and discos, (or Bodygaurds - which guard individual people.)

Awesome I have yet to get a false accusation against me yet
However, my sim did get a bad rep for woohooing with a celeb in an elevator in public:X
But I figured out that if you talk to certain people, the option to dispel the rumor is available and it reduces the timing on the embarrassed moodlet
