Homegrown Townies
« on: November 30, 2014, 07:29:04 AM »
Hi! After PMing with the wonderful Playalot, we were talking about how the world runs out of townies after a while.. which got us thinking.. what if we made our own?

I know that there are some amazing sims already on the gallery to pick from - but the fun for me is seeing how far into an aspiration I would go (without any obviously game advantage cheating) before the sim turned into an adult. I made sure that the very first reward I brought was a young again potion, then played that poor sim to her limit (didn't even really bother with her looks poor lady..) and then I  could tell she wasn't going to make it with only 2 days to go before her birthday, so she drank her potion of youth and I have saved her on my library without any notes.. so eventually I will forget how many skills etc she has and will pop her into an empty house one day and she starts as a young adult and may be good legacy material for later!! (clearly not an official one  ;))

So here is my documentation of the first sim..

Her name is .. um.. something Fair (oh dear I've forgotten her already!)

Her aspiration is Freelance Botanist -- traits are Loves the Outdoors, Perfectionist (stupid choice for this by the way..) Cheerful *edit - it was actually neat.. oh my.. she really was forgettable!

With only 2 days before her birthday, it was very clear she was not going to complete it - but she was very close!

Next up I'm going for the Master Chef Aspiration with a random male sim.. wish me luck!

I really like this idea! Good luck :)
I didn't fall! I simply attacked the floor with my awesome ninja skills!

This seems like a great idea, and definitely something I'd like to try out in my own game in the future!

It's great fun especially if you don't mind power playing with one or two sims!  Thanks for checking in officialghosts!

Really interesting idea! I may have to try this out. In any case, seems like an exciting way to play!

So my next Sim is the handsome Brent Calvert

He is an Ambitious Perfectionist Foodie.. And BOY is it hard to get promoted in the Culinary Career! Might have to have a few 'cheaty' moments coming up in regards to his sleeping!  ;)

Although I do love his smiley little face..  Only half way through, more power play coming up soon!

Thanks for reading guys - Looking forward to starting a new Legacy soon, just waiting on the new patch to come through.. can't wait to use some of these little guys!  ;D

Great to see The Project coming along! lol. Love your Townies so far.  :)
And I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who can completely forget a sim that was only just made!  ;D

So our exceptionally talented chef managed to reach level 10 in cooking

Level 6 in the Culinary career

Had quite a few successful parties!

Got Level 10 in Gourmet Cooking

And completed his aspiration 11 days prior to becoming an adult

Downside?  Had only 2300 in his bank account!!

Next... Computer Whiz! Thanks for reading!  ;D
