@coolsim9999999 you only get $80 if you have 8 Sims in your household and you have to pay $1200 for the Nanocan. Randi's 2 Sim household would only get $20 and some drinks cost more than that to make. In the Skill of the Week challenge, my two Sims made over 75K in one week making Prose and Pop and Amygdelight and selling them through thier inventories. They could have made even more except one Sim had to keep a job. :)

@reggikko --- Oh O.K.  Thanks.  My main sim family is an 8 Sim household in my main game --- so, I didn't know.  I started a new game for CL.

I'm glad you found a good way to make extra money for your Sims.

« on: November 14, 2016, 10:57:58 PM » The other thing she always does is whenever she's at a Festival ("City Life") she always manages to sneak off to a food cart when I'm not watching like a hawk and she buys food when her hunger is already full because she ate before she left the house (because she's poor, and that's what poor people do!!! lol).

This drove me crazy, at festivals my Sims would constantly try to order and eat food, even when they were not hungry, I got real tired of having to cancel it all the time. I have heard that the new patch has fixed this, can't wait to go into my game and see!  ;D

Now if only my creative Sim would stop dropping things from her queue to try and paint all the time, she has other things to do than just paint all the time.  ::)

I drag them to the nanocan --- and make §80 each time --- as with all dirty dishes.  It's cool that you can sell glasses in a Sims' inventory, though. :)

At the risk of sounding like a total noob (and I swear, I've been playing The Sims since the 1st one came out)... what is a "nanocan"? lol

@Randi --- A nanocan is a §1200 indoor automatic trashcan that does not need to be emptied.  It "eats" your Sims' trash and turns it into energy.  It gives you some money back every time you use it.  You may place it outside, as well.

$10 for each Sim living in your household to be exact and it's easy to abuse if you have the tea or coffee maker or a Sim in the Culinary career.  ;D

It's really helpful, though  :)!

Townies that stand right in front of your sims while they are proposing. *Rage Quit* I spent sims weeks building this two up to the 'special moment'. Gah!

I always have Sims propose inside one of their families houses, so townies don't get in the way.

Time to resurrect this old thread....

Why does my game constantly want me to listen to S-Pop... *pulls hair out* it's really not my kinda music game. Just stop, ok.

That they have to react to everything! The "See what's happening" action that came with City Living is the bane of my life, it always gets canceled every time I see it appear in Sims queue. I mean really, do you have to react to every little thing?! Not if I can help it. >:(

The irony @Rainbow Dash ,  simmers (me included) used to complain about how sims were completely unaware of their surroundings..  :-\

It is kinda interesting, to see Sims stand on their tip toes, to peek out a window, just to watch an argument. Still, could probably do without it, just as easily.

What do your Sims do that annoy you?

The absolute worst:
They cancel my commands and do their own thing instead >:(

Other:
If they have a City Living toilet they will go and look at it (and be amazed) before doing their original set task.
They won't be still for 5 seconds while I think about what I want them to do. Forces me to pause the game a lot.
They change activity every 5 second.
They walk in on family members who are using the bathroom.
They stand around forever near a Sim who is repairing or upgrading something because they want to chat.
A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear
