My teenagers always want to sleep in their parents' beds. I get them a high quality single bed, but no -- they have to be in a double bed. And if I have two teens, they'll get into bed with each other. It's creepy when they're related and doubly creepy when it's their grandparents.

Drink the mixology drinks that they have just made, but are for another sim, instead of putting them on the bar. Can't they read my mind.... it was obvious to me the drink was for someone else.

Party guests who raid the fridge and get in the way of the Sim who needs to cook a lot of stuff to complete Master Chef aspiration! I mean, their host or hostess has put out Lobster Thermidor and they raid the fridge for scrambled eggs!

Anyway, what truly annoys me is when I notice that a Sim has just finished the tasks I had set them to and they have self selected something new on the other end of the house but I want them to instead do something that is close at hand... Even if I pause, cancel their choice, direct them elsewhere, and unpause they invariably walk to the other end of the house as if they are going to do whatever they had chosen before turning around and heading back to what I told them to do.

I know this is such a late reply, but I found out that canceling the minor activity underneath the main task bar (walking, sitting, etc. the small circle on the lower left corner) stops the walking to the unnecessary previous place. Both the main interaction and the minor interaction have to be canceled to stop them from walking. Sure helps with the unnecessary ups-and-downs on the stairs.

One of the things that annoy me a little is the fact that the sims don't really use the pools as much. They usually head for the computers, then the stereos first. The pool is not an option for fun at all. Unless I might be doing something wrong.

My Sims don't use the pools as much either, unless I direct them to. I guess electronics are just more fun than splashing around.  :P

I get rather annoyed when I have a bunch of actions queued up and then, for some odd reason, the Sim seems to reset and it drops all the actions, so then have to queue it up all over again in the hopes that it doesn't get canceled again XD This mostly seems to happen when the Sim is sleeping and I queue things up for when they awake.  Though in some ways, I find it amusing since it reminds me of how I wake up in the morning, intending to do a bunch of stuff, but then I just kinda stumble out to the living room and sit there unless I'm getting ready for work.

Well, for my Sims, they seem unnaturally addicted to dancing to the stereo. All the time, even when their fun is maxed out. I also had an issue with my Sim's husband basically doing nothing but making drinks at the bar. I figured this must be part of the Bro trait. I just stored the bar away because the dude was becoming a lush.

I find this amusing. I never thought of it that way before.  ;D

I think the dancing is related to the happy moodlet somehow. So if you have one, you're bound to want to dance. This isn't concrete though, just an observation. The computers are better Sim magnets for me though. BlicBlock seems to be popular amongst the sims.

Found another new annoyance. When my Sims are "focused" it seems to be hard (sometimes impossible) to get them to do other tasks or fulfill needs like eating or sleeping. This is the only emotion that seems to do this. I have to run around deactivating any emotional auras nearby to get them to leave the area.

Their reluctance to do the washing up lately is annoying.  They complain about the mess but when I set them to the 'clean up' task they just pick up the dishes and put them down again on the nearest available surface...then complain about the mess again"

I just put the dirty dishes into inventory...that seems to work...

No kidding. If I leave my sims alone for even a few in-game minutes the first thing they want to do is play on the computer.  :P

I hate how visitors do it. My sim answers the door, visiting sim makes a beeline for the computer. After several sim hours - "I really should get going, and by the way, I've used up your monthly wifi data allowance" lol

For my first set of Sims, it was the stereo, but I'm noticing with my new Sim she's addicted to the computer as well. Maybe it has something to do with her aspiration and her always wanting to troll the forums.
Now that I've removed the stereo from the first set they seem addicted to the observatory and the microscope, which doesn't annoy me as much because they are at least building logic skill with those. The problem is they get so focused it's difficult to get them to do other things, even when they are practically starving or falling down needing sleep.

Ooh! And that's another thing... I'll have my Genius sim playing chess or something to build logic but she'll get super Focused and even if it's time for her to go to work she won't want to leave! Sigh.
