Late Night is driving me bonkers. Well and truly bonkers, I tell you!

Did you do a clean uninstall and reinstall of all the Sims 3 games when you installed Late Night?

Does anybody have an image on which they can show me where 34 1st Ave is?

I hope this helps.

I'm afraid to try. I shouldn't be, with a new DVD RW drive, but the fact is that I'm worried that the game isn't going to start when I do.

The problems aren't there in Riverview. Some of the problems still exist in SV, but none in RV. No idea why that would be, but I will probably do a clean install after the next time that I shut the game down. I'd been thinking about it, and had done it recently, but I guess it's time to do it again. I had to for Ambitions as well.

A minor point: Getting the repairman to fix salvaged items doesn't work anymore, even in other towns. It use to be my way to pick up extra cash, so I'm disappointed.  Many of my opportunities don't work either. They still do when I travel, but not at home.

Is anyone else having a problem with a start and stop walk style of their Sims? I didn't have this problem before. It just started today. It's a very choppy walking and it takes forever for them to walk across a room.

I have heard of this glitch from other people, but not seen it myself.  So it's not just you.

I've sometimes seen them stop walking in mid-stride, though.

It happened to me a couple of times prior to LN when I was visiting China.  I had to reset my Sim a couple of times before he started walking normally again.

The choppy effect also happens when I pan around their home lot. I tried changing to a different family and they were doing the choppy start and start walk also. If I go to the map it pans as smoothly as always.

All of a sudden, my sim can't go to work. He's an actor at level 7, and when I tell him to go to work, the action appears but then immediately disappears again in the queue.

Haven't had this problem before, but for three days in a row now he hasn't been able to go. Kind of annoying if it's something I can't fix myself, since his LTW is to reach level 10 in the acting career. I guess I'll just change the LTW if I won't be able to complete it until the next patch.

Anyone else having this problem? How can I solve it?

Edit: I restarted the game, I completed a job-related opportunity and I became a vampire. One of these things (Probably not the last one) must've fixed whatever bug this is, because my sim just successfully went off to work. So at least it's nothing major.

Did anyone figure  out why most Sims can't dance on tables? Is it a special table or is it the Sim? I got my male Sim to do it once in a Dive Bar but nowhere else.

I've had several issues with actions disappearing from the queue.  It happens a lot with my butler.

I was wondering the same thing.  My sims used to be able to dance on the kitchen counter at home, but now they can't anymore.

Likewise, when I go out to a bar, no one else seems to do it either.    Perhaps there's an intermittent glitch there.

For what it's worth, my sims that did it had Party Animal and Inappropriate traits.    I'm still not sure if that's a prerequisite or not.

Well my Sim that did it is insane but he doesn't do it anymore.

I've just had one of my Late Night families disappear, with an error message flash up saying the save file is corrupt. The game (but not the computer) shut down cleanly last time I closed it, so I'm not sure why that happened.

This is not a problem with Bridgeport but rather SV after installing LN.  I salvaged several items from the junkyard and called the repair person.  After several tries, each of which the repair person arrives, stands around nodding and moving their arms, (per usual), they say they are done, charge the standard fee and walk off, leaving NOTHING repaired.  Since this is one of the ways I cheaply remodel houses and gain income, it's a royal pain.  Anyone else had this problem or know if it's a bug or whatever?

My sims haven't tried to salvage anything recently, but I just had an experience of calling the repairman to fix a shower.  He stood around in front of the house for a long time, finally said he was done, billed my sims the $50, and left without fixing the shower.  I called again, same thing happened.  I finally got one of my sims to fix the shower.  This was in my Dynasty game in Sunset Valley.  Anyone else having problems with the repairman not fixing regular household stuff?  The household has a broken computer too, and I'm not sure I trust any of the family to try repairing it.  But I don't want to keep throwing money down the drain on the repairman if he won't do anything.
