I can discuss Master Controller further with you in a PM, if you'd like. Honestly, I haven't tested to see how much I can recover with that mod, but I can try opening an old save to try before I lead you down the modding rabbithole.

Anyways, I approve of all of this gay romance. ;) And yay for three immortals down!
For Cecily, it was fate.  With that magic eight ball telling her she would find true love, and finding a romantic interest at prom the next day, there was no room for misinterpretation.  With Jeannine, she's only had interest in women since her husband passed, even with mourning her husband on her own, so I see it as a way for her to cope with the centuries without him.  That and it was Johanna King, who couldn't love those braids with their bows?

Congrats on another immortal.  Colette was a very pretty elder.
I think her darker skin tone helps with her aging gracefully, that and her bright eyes.  Besides Ellie, I think she's my youngest looking elder ever.

Chapter 20
Cecily

When I was three, my mother told me when I was older I would get married, there would be cake.  When I was 13, I asked a magic 8 ball about love, and was told true love would indeed be mine.  At prom I met her, the love of my life, Hillary.  And now, at 23, my life is ruined.  I should explain.
It was my young adult birthday, and Hillary had come to celebrate, and show off that she was a mermaid now.  I definitely wasn't going to complain about that!  It's one of the few occults Gran Gran says can live with us, and it's wonderful to be with someone who's not a normal sim, like myself and the other immortals.

I blew out the candles, looking at my girlfriend, and thinking about what we could soon do, and our life together.

But first I had to fix the what the sparkles did to me.  Much as the short hair flatters my face, it just isn't me.  And I missed my makeup.

Ah, Much better!

Hillary and I enjoyed some time together, now that I was no longer a teen, and I soon asked her to marry me.  She said yes!

My graduation was the next day.  I graduated with honors!  Hillary told me the gown made it obvious I was related to Ellie, though I don't know what she meant by that.

I decided to meet Hil's family before getting married.  It was only proper, much like Hillary, and now myself after my young adult birthday.  I would later regret that decision, as Gran Gran had tagged along, to make sure that there were no hidden vampire-in-laws or anything.

I don't remember much of my bachelorette party.  There was a dress.

And drinks.  JC made many of them, though Gran Gran requested something special that she said I would need for my last night as a single woman.

And Gran Gran casting magic, with my sister Merina looking on with much amusement.
"See, I told you there was nothing to worry about."

Then I woke up in bed with Hil's brother the next morning. Very hungover.

"Hey, sorry, I didn't catch your name last night.  I was pretty juiced, but it was-"
"I'm Cecily.  Cecily O'Neil-"
"O'Neil?  I think I know your family..."
"-Hillary's Fiance."

"What!!?"
I pleaded for forgiveness, insisted that it had all been an accident, I didn't even remember most of last night.  Eventually, he decided to forgive me, but I had to be the one to tell Hillary.
I wasn't looking forward to that.  But, it was the day of my wedding, so there wasn't much else I could do.

Gran Gran freaked when she saw who left my bed on his way out the house.  Despite not remembering, I was branded a cheater.  Life isn't fair like that sometimes.

What I didn't know at the time was that Gran Gran had lost Jo, and with it, her resolve to let me and Hillary be.

So, she and JC had devised a plan to ensure generation five would be born.  Gran Gran had to talk him into it, something about Ellie and the end of the dynasty, I was too hungover to really care when he apologized to me.  The drinks he gave me?  Love drinks.  Gran Gran caste a love charm on Hillary's brother.  We were already both juiced.  Things...happened.  The real question was if I was pregnant, though at the time it didn't cross my mind.
When she saw that it had truly happened, Gran Gran was struck by guilt.
"Ah, Jo, what have I done..."

But really, the question was, what had I done.  I called Hil over, even though it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.  I wonder if its double bad luck with two brides.
I fought off the worst of the hangover while I waited, vomiting up last night's juice.

Hil was less then pleased when I told her.
"If you didn't want to marry me, you just should have said so!  My brother!?  I thought you liked women!"
"Hil, please, I'm sorry, I got too drunk, I don't even remember-"
"Juice isn't an excuse.  I can't do this, I can't marry you."
"Are...are you breaking up with me?"
"I don't know!"

That was when Gran Gran intervened.  She quietly caste a love charm on Hil and I, and let her magic do the work for us.  We patched things up somewhat.  I'm not sure if we're still getting married, but we're still together, so I guess it's something.

I hope we can work this out.
Meanwhile, Merina was getting a mission from Gran Gran.
"I need pointy ears back in this family, and I have just the way to do it.  How do you feel about a nooboo?"
"I like bunk beds."

Silly me, I went to go upload photos and start writing today, only to realize I already had the next chapter done.  Oopsie.

Oh my, what a plot twist  :o  Hope all works out for Cecily!
I hadn't bothered to look at the sims's name when I picked out a baby daddy for Cecily, I just picked the first guy at the party who wasn't a vampire or werewolf.  I think his name is Ramiro Holm, Hillary originally had parents but when she was an adult they had disappeared, and never showed up in her family tree either, which is broken due to being both Gen 5's aunt and step-mother.  Ironically, he turned into a werewolf shortly after Gen 5 was born, hopefully that doesn't influence Gen 6 to be a werewolf ><
Also, Hillary was literally the girl next door, Which was only discovered when I went to meet her parents/family.  What a small world the O'Neil family lives in.

-please remember, Merina is quite the...different sim.  Her narrative is sometimes confusing due to her being insane, clumsy and unstable.  Though she is also brave and a genius with a good sense of humor, so she's saved a bit later.

Chapter 21
Merina

Birthday!  Yay me!  I wish to give Gran Gran pointy-eared noo boos!

Cecily might beat me to it though.  Naughty girl!  This is my mission, she should concentrate on hers, completing the duties of the Heir!

She helped me with my hair and new dress though, so I think I still like her, even if she stole my noo boo for Gran Gran.

Gran gran introduced me to an old friend of hers, Yoopew Xip.  He had pointy ears.  He got hit with a spell just before I could ask him what his job is.

After telling me he was unemployed, he also told me he used to see a blonde woman named Marina.  My great-grandmother!  Cool, he must be a great guy if she liked him  We smoochied.

And again.

I heard chimes, so I think I did a good job.  Maybe.
Cecily hit herself with a goodluck charm, hoping it would rub off on her own belly-spawn.  Pointy-eared or not, noo boo is gonna need it with a mum like my sister.  I like her good enough, but I'm not sure anyone else will.
Dad says she's having a boy.  He's a world-renowned surgeon, not a midwife, how would he know?  Dad is smart and all, but not as smart as me.  I told sis it's gonna be a witch.  We'll see whos right soon enough.

I graduated.  Valedictorian, and class clown. They're just hating cause I wore a cooler hat then the rest of them, I'm going to the police academy, not clown school.

Dad's old now.  Sad face, I don't want him to join grandma Ellie, even if her garden in the netherworld does have way cooler plants then the one we have.

Pointy ears made me sick.  Gran gran will be pleased.

Cecily still beat me to it.

"Oh, a noo boo!"

"...I still have to tell Hil's brother about this."
I was right!  Witch!  Somehow Da guessed right about it's gender, but since there are only three options, I guess the odds were in his favor.

I get one too!  C'mon pointy-ears, Gran Gran wants you back!

But plenty of exercise, I wanna be a copper.  Da keeps saying I'll exercise the baby right out, ut that can't be right.  I'm having pointy-ears' nany, not a ghost-boo.

Dad says Imma have a boy too.  He was right with Cecily, so I'll believe him.

Gran Gran took a turn holding noo boo boy, but sis was right behind her.
"Jean Claude told me about the love charm, and the spiked drinks.  Don't think I'll forget this.  Your going to pay for this."

She did finally call baby daddy over, and told him.  I didn't see it happen, and haven't asked her about how he took the news yet.  The family tree is gonna be weird if she and Hillary ever get married.

If she stops tinkering and getting electrocuted, that is.

At least Da and Granddad are happy.

"Your the first boy to be born into this legacy since me.  Hey there."

"Me, a grandfather!  Hello there little one..."

It seems like you forfeited your potential HoF-status by not moving in Cecily's babydaddy.

Sorry to have to break it to you. :-\

Either way, I'm hoping for the pointy ears to come back too!

Yeah, the household was too full to move in Ramiro with both Cecily and Merina pregnant, I didn't think that one through.  Seth didn't die soon enough.

Ah, that blasted Seth. :P

As long as you're aware of what happened, that's fine. I'm still reading.

I'm choosing to continue with the story, and this actually provided me with a unique opportunity for the epilogue and sequel, as I already had no idea what to do for my founder when all was said and done.  No hall of fame this time, but since i've never gotten this far with the challenge, I'm ok with it as a learning experience.

Welcome to the nooboo (and soon to be nooboos)!
Thank you both for your support.  HoF will be mine next time, but this can lay the groundwork for what will hopefully be a much more exciting and in-depth story!

For a while, both babies refused to cake.  As babies, toddlers, and I believe children, they refused cakes.  I think I may have had too full a household with the dogs, because others were willing to accept caking, just not them.  Oh well, at least they aged  :P

Chapter 22
Seth

Late one night after work, I went to the easel, and tried to begin a new work.  I could not.  Even pulling up a blank canvas was beyond my current ability, with what I had learned.
I know that it's my fault.  No one besides me and Miss Jeannine know.  My wife, her father, our daughter...they don't know we've failed.  They don't know happy endings are forfeit, that we could just do whatever we want not, that the rules, now broken, no longer apply.
If I had died in a timely manner, like my father, that Ramiro boy could have moved in.  But that isn't what would have made my little girl happy.  That isn't what would have given her a good, happy life, while I was here to watch it.  My daughters wanted babies, and they wanted the lovers that they chose.  So, we'll keep it a secret.
We'll pay for this, I'm certain.  To have our family continue to live as though the dynasty was still intact is something that shall haunt me in the netherworld.  But if it gives Lette the hope she will need once I'm gone that we can be reunited, that happy endings are still in store for us and everyone else, I'll keep this secret.  No one else needs to know.
Miss Jeannine insists that she will be the one to pay, as the founder, and that she will broker a deal so that the rest of us can have our happily ever afters.  I'm not sure that I can accept her taking this burden on herself, but it's still a few hundred years off, surely.  My grandson's great-grandchild is a long way off yet.
Funny how it always seems like there's more time.  Merina reminds me that the here and now are sometimes more important then what the future holds in store for all our fates.
"Dad, I feel weird."

Miss Jeannine almost broke the sound barrier with how fast she ran into the room.
"C'mon pointy-ears!"
"Oh!  Oh, no.  No, no, no, no, no, owwie!"

Lette was on her grandmother's heels once she heard our youngest's cries.
"Ohmygosh, Merina, honey, what's wrong?"
In a rare moment of clarity, she answered in perfect sanity.
"Baby's on it's way."

She then walked calmly into the nearest bathroom, to 'minimize the mess', as it made more sense to birth in a room with a tiled floor.
"Ok, let's do this."

"Well Gran Gran, they kind of look pointy-"

Miss Jeannine sniffed delicately
"Not really, merely curved.  We could always give him up to his homeworld and let them raise him so you can try again."
Merina recoiled in shock "No, Grandmother.  I love Pascal.  Besides, your rules state that only pregnancies resulting from abductions can be given unto Sixon"

Merina's lucid moments really are quite something.  Miss Jeannine later apologized to her for even bringing it up, and quickly learned to love Pascal just as much as the rest of us.  I'll always wonder if Merina knew about the broken rule, and that bringing up another rule was the perfect way to slap her great-grandmother in the face for insinuating her only son was something she could just give up.
My other grandson, Olivier, had his birthday shortly after his cousin's birth.  For some reason he refused cake, and merely sparkled into toddlerdom on his own.

He quite resembles his father, though he has inherited powers just like the rest of the immortals.  I'm starting to wonder if it's a dominant trait, like the unstable trait that has thus far shown in everyone by childhood, though it did skip over JC.
I quite enjoyed my time with Olivier.  He was a troubled lad, but cared deeply for those he allowed close to him.  He took those first hesitant steps with me, and though he stumbled often, he never fell.

Once he had the idea of words down, he explaigned to me that he loved the outdoors.

"I promise you that even if I don't live to see your wedding day-"

"-I will always watch over you, just like my mother does for me."

I hoped that he would keep Pascal safe as well.

Miss Jeannine potty-trained the little tyke, and with that toddler skills were all done, though only for the moment.

Pascal showed the same aversion to cake as his older cousin, so he had to find the sparkles on his own without any sugary guidance.

He does favor Miss Jeannine somewhat, if nothing else their favorite colors are almost the same, aquamarine and turquoise.

We splurged a little to add another story onto the house.  We still had a few generations to go, and wanted the boys to be able to have their own rooms once they got older.  For now the bunked with their great-great-grandmother, who kept them safe in her room with her magic and JC's dogs guarding them.

Merina took care of all of Pascal's toddler training on her own, stating that he would be the only toddler for her to ever spoil.

The days flew by.  Merina received a complementary degree in the mail after completing her schooling in the police academy online.  She became a cop, taking a step towards her life's dream, and looked marvelous in her uniform.

Pascal and Olivier spend their afternoons playing, sometimes together, sometimes alone.  Both are virtuoso, and Pascal is friendly, something his cousin will no doubt appreciate as they grow older.

Unfortunately, I didn't get as much time with them as I would like.  Being 88, you'd think I'd retire, but here I am, running off to work.  In Bridgeport, most sims only as a world-renowned surgeon to preform plastic surgery, but there are also sims who actually need my help in this town, and I'm not ready to leave them just yet.  Maybe next year.

Both Oliver and Pascal are cuties!  They have nice color schemes too.  They really compliment the cousins.

Yeah, I was hoping for those ears, but I guess Merina's genes won that round.  His skin tone is quite pleasing, however.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well their favorite colors matched their skin tones, and Pascal is now my favorite toddler.  Those great big-black eyes of his are stunning to look at.

Chapter 23
Jean Claude

Having two wonderful great-grandsons was wonderful, but not everything that was going on in our lives.  Mum was visited by the rather angry ghost of her ex-girlfriend one night, shortly after we had put the boys to bed.

“How could you do that to someone in love, to Cecily!?”
Mum knew that despite the anger, Johanna still loved her deep down, and let her magic remind them both of what they shared together.
“I’m sorry, Jo.”

“Oh Jeannine...I don’t want our last words together to e of anger.  Don’t forget me, ok?  I’ll always love you.”
The two shared a kiss, Jo playing with Mum’s hair one last time.

“I have to go now.  Don’t be alone, we’ll see each other again someday.  I’ll look the other way, you don’t deserve to be lonely.”
“Jo, I-”
And then she was gone.

Mum spent the next few days going back and forth between Jo’s and Dad’s graves, mourning the loss of the loves in her life, and considering Jo’s words.  Dad had said something similar to her shortly before his own death, that she shouldn’t be alone, they’d see each other again.  I never really understood how she felt until Ellie left us, Caroline and I were never close like that.

Colette took care of the boys while Mum was mourning.  Though her elderly body could only carry one of them at a time, the other would always follow closely behind, holding her hand.

One day, Mum went down to the second basement, and took a seat on her chair, looking around from behind the glass.
“All of this...and now…”
Dad watched her from the other side.
“Matthew!”

He smiled gently at her, mouthing the words “I forgive you…” Before floating away.
“What have I done!  Oh, how will I tell everyone?  It’s already...and now...”

We had a birthday party for Olivier, inviting his father, who only reluctantly showed up.
Olivier loves violet and the outdoors, and styled himself accordingly.

After aging up, Olivier approached his father, and attempted to have a bonding moment with him.
“Hey, so I-”
“Not interested kid, sorry.”
It most definitely could have gone better.  Olivier had never been close with his mother, and now that his father also showed no interest in him, it’s no small surprise that he turned out grumpy.  Colette, Mum and I did our best to be there for him, but for a long time the only person he would allow to be close to him was Pascal.

We built Olivier his own room with a bathroom attached

He liked the bed at least, getting up earlier than necessary for school.
.
Meanwhile, Mum followed the advice given to her by Jo and Matthew.  She cast another spell, one one Belisama Hemlock.

Figures Mum went for another long-lived occult.  Ah well, whatever makes her happy.

She eventually convinced Belisama to be her girlfriend.  I’m not sure I like that look on her face though, it’s well known that vampire is evil, no matter how nice her parents are.

Pascal woke up bright and early for his birthday, standing up on his own as the sparkles fell.

He’s quite the handsome little man, taking quite after his father, but with a much better sense of fashion like my Merina’s.

He’s friendly, virtuoso and easily impressed, quite the nice addition to our family.  He keeps Olivier out of trouble at school now too, quite the added bonus.
Cecily tutored him one afternoon after another electrical accident.  We’re getting used to them.

I lost another dog that weekend, my Tiffany.  Grim took her gently, as he had the others, but it was still difficult.  I think I’m going to resurrect my dogs after all this is over, get a nice big plot of land for them to run around all day, maybe near a fishing hole…

Grim stayed around for hot dogs.  He stopped walking as he passed Seth.
“It’s going to be soon you know.”
“I know...thank you for waiting, I know you could have done it today.”
“...Not on the list today.”
