In my previous games, Vladimir was always the best friend who turned her when she asked to become a vampire, and as soon as she married Matt Hamming or someone else, she was always being falsley accused (I guess it was Vladimir because he was evil), and Vladimir was still showing up at every place she went to.

The game had gone automatically to the 3x speed of sleep and I never dreamed that he would die so quickly.  Here's a video of it on Facebook.

Yeah once their thirst gets really low, it doesn't take much to kill them.  I had a mishap with my vampire doctor after a vaccination clinic made her crispy.  I tried to keep her thirst up, but she got called into work for an emergency.  I assumed she'd be able to handle her hunger at work, but apparently there's no lunch breaks during emergencies.  Who would have thought, huh?  :P  She died as she was waiting for the elevator to take her up into her apartment.  As noble as it might seem to die in the course of helping others, I reloaded the last save.

Luckily I saved just before the vaccination clinic.  And she's never done another outdoor opportunity since.

Lol.  As a vampire doctor, you would think they wouldn't have any trouble getting blood plasma.

Hehe, that has to be one of the best Sims characters I've ever heard of. A vampire doctor! That would make a great story :)

I just threw a birthday party for my nooboo when she aged to toddler and right after I blew out the candles Beau Merrick died in the living room for no discernible reason. I guess he died of thirst. Kind of a downer for the party though.

Yeah, if you've ever read Pam's Dynasty (The Dreamweavers), then you'll know that at almost every party she had, they was a vampire death. Pretty weird.

It has after a fashion.  I found the concept of the character quite intriguing, and started writing a story about it (it's not quite complete yet, but it's close).  It's more about her perception and experience of being a vampire than anything, though.

There's a link to it in my signature (Interview with a Nightwalker).

For everyone who has been doing vamp child research:

I don't think it's possible to get a human baby from one vamp, one human parent. The human/vampire pair is different from the human/ghost pair because vampires have a hidden trait, and hidden traits seem to always be passed down to the children. I think that the presence of the hidden trait will always turn the child.

Hm I wasn't aware they had one! I know firefighters, pizza delivery people and others had a hidden trait but I didn't know vampires did!

Vampires, Simbots and mummies have hidden traits that change things like their snores and walks. Ghosts are built into the game code without needing traits to change things about them. I'm still trying to work out what parts of the code do what when it comes to vampires.

Actually, any hidden trait is always passed down. This includes the Vampire trait as well. The only reason why a hidden trait won't pass down is when a Sim (the father/mother) has two or more hidden traits, like with Pyromaniac/Immune to Fire. In this case, the game chooses by random. More on the Vampire trait and other hidden traits here.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

I know. I've been having a try at getting into the game's source code to work out what does what and how things work.
