Briar Merrick finally aged up to young adult. She grew up pretty with no fangs and I noticed she has the hidden pyro trait. She and her parents danced the night away at The Grind to celebrate. I was surprised to see that Beau is an awesome dancer He was doing moves I'd only seen in Pam's video.

None of mine have gotten fangs when they age to Young Adult.  Their mother has fangs and she was turned into a vampire during her Adult stage.  I wonder if those who are born vampires just don't develop fangs.  Anyone have more experience with this?

Now that you mention it, I'm not totally sure Serena has fangs, either.  I'm going to have to go and check.

Edit:  Nope, Serena does not have fangs, either.

Well I actually found a way to get the fangs for anyone who really wants them. Totally tested and cheat free! It's really quite simple. Go to the science facility and get the cure to turn your Sim back. Once your Sim has returned to 'normal', simply have someone turn them. After metamorphosis is complete they will have fangs. I tested this and found it to have no adverse effects. Briar maintained her vamp looks, had no probelm with skills as a human or when she turned back, and her lifespan stayed the same as well.

That's interesting, but I still find it odd that Sims born as vampires have no fangs.  It really doesn't make sense.

I was under the impression that once unvamped, a sim could not be revamped or even drank from.  Clearly that's not the case, but I specifically remember something along those lines...so what am I thinking of?

The vampire teeth and tats are actually accessories, so I guess the game just forgets to apply them when your Vampire kids age up. You can get them back by using the 'unlockoutfits on' cheat; they're at the very bottom of the Accessory list, with a picture of a mouth for the fangs and a picture of an outfit for the tattoos. For the tattoos, you can even change the colour!

I read the exact same thing on the sims wiki, maybe that's were you read it.

If I'm not mistaken there is a waiting period between getting unvamped and revamped. I'm not sure how long it is, but it's probably like a sim day or less.
