My little toddler vampire Buttermilk is all grown up.  Boy, is she gorgeous.  Here she is dancing at one of the clubs.

I don't think I've ever done a jaw-drop when watching a Sims video... but I seriously sat at my computer like this: 

Little adorable Buttermilk is now a... a... hot woman!!! I remember when she was just knee high to a grasshopper! ;-)  Also, Pam were you doing the celebrity challenge where your sim has to dance for 2 or 4 hours?

Yes, that's exactly what she was doing.  She learned that club dance style after less than 3 hours of dancing.

I'll put Buttermilk and her siblings in the Swap Shop hopefully in the next couple of days.

I have my first vampire, everyone!

Jamie Infinity, nee Jolina, decided that after 25 years of wedded bliss to Anjelika Infinity (the sim I made), she wanted to try something a little different than botox to stay looking young and hot.  She talked to her co-worker Geoffrey Landgraab at a party one night.  "Geoff, how does your skin always look so smooth?  And you can always party into the night!  I mean, I'm a party animal but WOW MAN!"  Geoffrey smiled at her, and it seemed his eyes twinkled and ... he had fangs?  She shook her head.  I'm just dreaming, no one has fangs!  Vampires are just fairytales.  "Well, I can show you Jamie.  Are you sure?"  She hesitated, then nodded.  "Give me your arm, then."  Jamie tentatively held out her arm, and Geoffrey grabbed her and bit down hard on her wrist.



I love her wonderfully blue eyes!  (Yes, I did give her a makeover but I can talk more about that in the makeover thread if anyone wants to see other pictures)  Sorry if you think my little "story" is a bit silly, I like to be a little dramatic

The thing I was most worried about as a player is that she would just want to turn EVERYBODY.  However, that is not the case.  She is married and has a daughter, and neither her wife nor her daughter is a vampire (nor really show any desire to become one).  I am completely fine with that.  I didn't want vampirism to spread through my town like a plague.  I DO want to just be able to try it out little by little.  I can safely say without this thread I probably never would have played a vampire character!  Thanks everyone

This thread makes me want to go play a vampire now and put my dynasty on hold! Haha I might just go and do that someday. I have had Late night forever and never even played a vampire family!

Lol no I haven't Pam. I've been busy with the Halliwell's but I'm taking a little break from them, so hopefully soon I can say yes!

Yeah, if you're playing with needs static, you're missing out on all the vampy fun lol.

Hunting almost makes the Charisma skill a necessity for vampires (as it should be).  You have to be friends with the target, or they won't let you drink them.  Veronika has long since maxed it, completed most of the challenges for it, and bought the "Attractive" and "Long Distance Friend" LTR's.  She can pretty much feed off anyone that pops up as a hunt target.  But she has to invite them back to her place, or the paparazzi are all over it.  Living that long pretty much guarantees you a 5 star celebrity status.  All it takes is one public disgrace, and she's gotta spend the next week and a half on the phone repairing friendships with the 26 friends that she's lost.  She doesn't lose the 10 or so near the top of the list, but most of them are vampires lol.  On the bright side, she hasn't lost a lawsuit in a long time...even when she's not wrongfully accused of something lol.

This isn't quite accurate.  You have to have a relationship with the target, but don't have to be friends.  Mine have been able to drink from acquaintances more than once.  Sometimes even after only 3 or 4 interactions.

Veronika got rejected a lot to start with, and nobody would let her drink from them unless their relationship was pretty good.  So I figured they had to be friends.  Any idea what actually determines that then?

On a side note:  Esther (at least) will be pleased to hear that I've been working on my story surrounding Veronika again.  As is typical when I write anything, my thought process on the story progression gets muddled.  I usually know where I want it to go, but I have trouble putting it into words that sound good to me.  But after putting it down for a little while, I was able to continue with a fresh perspective.  I've got all I need to post the next part (and most of the part after that), but it's late and I'm too tired to put it up right now lol.  But it'll be one of the first things I do when I get on tomorrow.

I believe that I recently bragged that Saffron would be as pretty as Buttermilk.  Well, she's aged to Young Adult.  What do you think?
