I am glad you are up and running again Esther, I know how you must have felt, not being able to play.  For the record, I love playing vampires too.  The funny thing is, I started a new game in BB and every single townie is a celebrity and I have played the game for a while and not one vampire has surfaced.  I thought that was kinda strange.  At first, I thought it was because I did not have any vampire lounges, but in other games, I have always seen vampires show up.  Sometimes it takes a couple of sim days, but so far, nothing, just all celebrities and I mean every townie is a celebrity.

Ok, thanks Mtglady!Thanks Salty, I noticed in SV, when I first started, I put in the Plasma 101 and made my own dance club and it took a couple days for a vampire to show up! Oddly enough, the very first vampire was Iqbal Alvi!

I moved my vampire into to Sunset Valley. She befriended and bit Mortimer. I had Mortimer bite Bella then Bella bite her brother Michael who bit his wife Sandi(French).

You know when you stay in the Sun for too long and they get the bad moodlet and then the note/reminder pops up in the top right corner telling you that if you stay in the Sun over a long period of time (like for a few days you do this, not just one time) they can lose their supernatural abilities for good/not as effective? Has this actually happened to someone before?

I have a question about Vampires. Probably not, although if they constantly have the moodlet they'd constantly be powerless. I don't think they'd lose their powers permanently.

I saw this mentioned somewhere, but not sure where.  I wonder why some vampires have fangs and some don't.  I have twin vampires and neither one have fangs.  I thought they all had fangs, oh well, at least she has a pretty smile, when they have fangs, their lips look funny, lol.

Saltypaws: I did some looking around and discovered that vampire fangs are actually classed as an Accessory. It's perfectly possible to use the 'unlockoutfits on' cheat to give a normal Sim fangs, or I suppose to remove fangs from a vampire.

On a related note, I went into samoht's studio and downloaded his vampire Hannah Longing, to see if she'd be a vampire straight out of CAS. The results were kind of odd; although she had the fangs and neck tattoo, she had perfectly normal needs and interactions and no lustre to her skin or eyes. I had to actually get her transformed for her to work like a normal vampire, so it looks like the 'vampires' on the Sims 3 exchange are just vampires in appearance only.

Well, that is something that I did not know.  Never would have thought of them as being accessories.  Actually, I kind of like my sims without them.  I just assumed they had the fangs automatically, because I had had other sims that were vampires and they had them after they turned young adult.  Oh well, learn something new everyday.  Thanks Ausette.
