Has anyone else noticed that toddler vamps are already practicing their 'bite'?  This is Wolfgang doing his thing -  ;D

Wow!  What kind of sounds was he making?  The regular coos and laughs?

I think Vampire children can also max out the fishing skill.  I am going to have to try it next time I load up the game.
My vampire toddlers learn to walk, talk and are potty trained very quickly.  They also are reading right through all of the books I have set out for them.

Those pics are awesome!!!

I wish they could do other skills as a youth, but I guess that would take the fun out of it.  Guess I could make her a vampire writer.  My whole household are vampires, I even turned the butler.  I really liked the article and I like playing these vampires.  Good job.

Does this increased speed also apply to teens and up?

Increased speed isn't *supposed* to happen at early ages. The design, the internal files, and the ingame lessons all point out for vampires to gain their powers at YA, which includes a moderate bonus to skilling at night.
There is, however, some big bugs in the skill-gain system in the last patch. "Starship Troopers"-sized bugs. These bugs result in the somewhat benign effect of supermanesque learning for vampire kids from toddler to child (possibly teen as well)... and they result in the not so benign effect of sims randomly becoming unable to raise skills anymore. Luckily, the latter is rare.

I just posted in the vampire thread, that teens also gain skills in a few sim hours.  My teen sim maxed all of the instruments in very little time.  She is maxed on about 7 skills so far and she just turned teenager.  Now I don't know what I want her to be when she grows up, lol. :)

@samo: thanks for the great guide! Good job!

Once townies are turned, do they ever turn back? I'm thinking that once your sim is a vamp, pretty soon his friends will be vamps, then if your sim goes back to human, he's stuck with all the vamp friends who aren't really on the same day/night schedule.

Samoh the guide is wonderful. You even covered my dumb questions... But give it time I'll find some more.  :D

Those are awesome shots! Oh what a cute widdle vampire sweetie trying to turn teddy into a vampire. Very good Wolfgang. I so want one. I can't wait to get my vampy family.

I could have sworn I saw a Sim one time that was a vampire and became friends with my Sim. Then later on like when my Sim turned Adult, that same Sim was no longer a vampire. Is that possible or was I seeing things?

Does a female Sim have to be a vampire herself to have vampire children? Or to put in another way, can a Sim remain human despite of being married to a vampire and have a vampire child? Thanks! :)

I think you can have a Vampire child as long as one parent is a Vampire, I would say it is the same as Ghost Babies with the 50/50 chance. But yes your Sim can stay human whilst married to a Vampire with Vampire Kids.

Definitely!  I had a normal living female who had triplets.  The father was a vampire ghost.  The triplets were two vampire ghosts and one regular vampire.

Wow!  What kind of sounds was he making?  The regular coos and laughs?

He would coo, then sort of growl - grrrr - while he was 'biting' then he would laugh and start it all over again.  It was really strange.
I am going to try with his sister, if she does the same thing, to make a video with sounds.

First pic is Raven about to be turned. I thought it was pretty funny that he went for the arm bite when they had just whoohooed in the elevator a few moments before!

Second pic is Briar checking out mommy's fangs :P She got red eyes from daddy Beau Merrick but as luck would have it, storyline progression married him off sometime after she was conceived so Raven is a single vampire mom . Sounds like a bad talk show topic lol!
