They have the option of drinking from a sim, eating a plasma fruit or in the quick meal option from the fridge has "plasma juice" and it looks like a red juice box.

I have two vampires and they have a daughter who is a child and she started writing a book one night and before she was even done with it she was at level 10! The funny part is her dad is in the director branch of the film career and his meter doesn't rise that fast at all!

Thrist drops at the same speed of hunger and to suck the 'plasma' of a sim they must be friends, otherwise you can use Plasma Fruits or a Plasma Carton.

Maybe slightly off topic (I apologize) but I have been playing barnacle bay with some of the LN clubs I built. But am not finding/meeting any vampires, so I built a vampire lounge, and still nothing. Anyone else finding this?

I don't have BB, but I think vampires will turn up in every town once LN is installed.

It's at a slower rate, near as I can tell.

I've seen precisely 1 vampire in Barnacle Bay, Eleanor Goldbeard or something like that.

Then my game crashed, and when I picked up from save point, she was no longer a vampire.

Maybe the pirates took out the vamps?

Pirates VS Vampires! ;D That sounds cool, but if I saw it happening in my game, I would freak out.

I have played my sim there for roughly 2 sim weeks and nothing, so I copied the Slayer vamp from BP over.
Then I had to make dinner and didn't get a chance to see her create havoc, will keep you all updated :P

I see vampires also have the hunt option for feeding, is this just to find the best friend to drink from or do you actually hunt down a sim and drink?

I haven't played vampire yet, but from the video I watched, you hunt and then befriend your prey if you can. Reading their mind, etc. helps you befriend them.

Yes, you have to be friends with someone to drink from them. It creates a positive social boost and a moodlet for both the vampire (something like a good meal) and a 24 hour exhausted moodlet for the human that i believe is a +20 for providing nourishment for a vampire. If they are friends the vampire bites the on the arm, if they are romantic interest high enough they bite them on the neck.

The Vampire Guide is up, Simstar has said that she received different messages during the Metamorphis, anyone else? Just post them on the Corrections Board or in the Vampire Guide announcement.

Have you played a vampire youth?  I maxed out painting, writing and logic in one sim night, absolutely amazing.  I read about it and didn't believe it was that fast, but, wow.

I wish they could do other skills as a youth, but I guess that would take the fun out of it.  Guess I could make her a vampire writer.  My whole household are vampires, I even turned the butler.  I really liked the article and I like playing these vampires.  Good job.

I think Vampire children can also max out the fishing skill.  I am going to have to try it next time I load up the game.
My vampire toddlers learn to walk, talk and are potty trained very quickly.  They also are reading right through all of the books I have set out for them.

Has anyone else noticed that toddler vamps are already practicing their 'bite'?  This is Wolfgang doing his thing -  ;D
