Yes, I think the cure is $3,000 at the Science facility.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but are you going to put a rule in your Immortal Legacy banning the Immortals from being turned into vampires? After all, if what I heard is right, Vampires do not need to eat Ambrosia as much because they could live for 106 days as an elder in normal time!  :o

Of course, from what I read, food doesn't have any effect on Vampires so maybe the Ambrosia's effects won't work on them?

I ran into Roxie Lin, Nadine Ivanov, and Lorraine Cantina and they were vampires! Then Odin Crosby got turned. Of course this can really mess one the "six best friends" challenge as Vampires live a very long time so your Immortals would never worry about losing any friends due to death from old age. (Of course, since each immortal must have six different besties, it wouldn't be too hard to have one immortal have six vampire best friends)

I feel your pain, girl! I have a cheating addiction too - I had to dump several legacies because I cheated. My worst sin is using the mailbox to max everyone's motives because I don't like having to change diapers or cuddle babies constantly. :(

Call me lazy, but I feel the same way. One of my friends called me lazy for always using the cheats so I just nodded and said " Yes..yes I am."

In all honesty I do feel they have the timing right for eating, bathroom, and the rest. Other than that, I just don't want to deal with it.

First off, Awesome vampire Storyteller! Man I hope I can wait til December, I might just buy it in November and play on my sisters computer another month! Probably not though she might get mad lol. Second of all, why is everyone so down on cheating?? I did not find the game fun at all without it! I bought TS3 base game and was about to give up on it forever and found the cheats. Since then I've bought all the ep's and sp's except for FL and LN, and I'm getting those as soon as monetarily able! So for me EA almost lost my money until I found them! So I just do not understand the negativeness (is that even a word lol) regarding cheats!

I know for sure I am not associating cheats with negative anything. ;D I love to use my cheats. My issue is that I can't play a game without cheating. I want to experience the work and stuff that everyone puts into a game, without using cheats. Plus I wanted to get into some of the challenges next year and alot of them do not allow cheats.

If you want to discuss the use of cheats in the game, there is a thread on that topic in the General Discussion section.  The topic here is Vampires.  Please keep on topic.

What if the sim who is infected is not in my control - say, a prospective spouse I think would be good in my Dynasty.  Is there some way to get a sim you're not controlling, to be cured?

Highly unlikely.

My vampire sim delivered twins and I did a "dry run" to see how vampirism works with children.  It seems that children age normally (3 days infant, 7 days child, 14 days teen on normal life span), have normal hunger needs and do not display any vampire traits (running fast, fast learning, burning in the sun) until aging up to young adult.  However, they do show up in the relationship bar with the red line around their picture like normal vampires.

Off to play again, this time letting the children age up normally.  I'll post some pics later.

So they are faster than ghosts, mummies and simbots? Awesome! Also do people get the "vampire" reaction like they do with mummies, ghosts and simbots?

Just uploaded a photo of the Vampire Beau who is turning my Sim Hannah into a Vampire!

I also know the sequence of how a Sim turns into a vampire if anyone wants to know, I wrote a lot of it down for the Guide, I will also need some extra details as I am not sure whether all things are certain. So if someone has a Vampire can they check the following thing for me:

Favourite Food - Hannah's changed from Fruit Parfait to O Positive with a Blood Carton picture, is O Positive the only fav or are there more?
