I came across this vampire in SV, no idea who he is, but boy he sure does look miserable to me. I couldn't resist taking his photo and showing it here. I guess he really didn't want to be a vampire!

I think it's because they aren't as much fun to dress up.  They don't have as many clothing and hair choices, plus I don't put makeup on them when they grow up.

When a male sim is exceptionally pale, I'll put some make up on them just to add some color to their face.  Typically I'll add some single tone lipstick and reduce the opacity of it until it looks more like a natural lip color than it does lipstick.  Sometimes I'll even give them a light coating of blush, just to add some definition to their faces.  I do this more with male vampires, because the skin effects makes them look frail and sickly.  While they should be pale, I think they should look more vibrant and healthy than they do.  They're vampires, not zombies.  :P

Yup, EA messed up the two creatures. Mummies move like zombies too. And the guy sure looks miserable. ;D

I had a Vampire Sim of mine have a baby again. I was a little worried about how she would turn out, but so far she looks pretty cute.:D

Three guesses as to who her father is. Here's a hint: Bridgeport.

I'm going to go with the less obvious choices first.  My guesses, in this order:

1) Vladimir Schlick
2) William Fangman
3) Beau Merrick

It's Beau. I was surprised when she aged into a toddler because she actually looks somewhat normal and a bit cute. All the other kids turn out like some sort of character from a horror film. Though they were all boys so maybe Beau just isn't the best father if you want a good-looking boy.

My Sim, Stoker from a few pages back, is the son of Beau Merrick (I really wanted that pyro trait). His mother had very nice genes. Mind you, his two older brothers are a bit funny-looking, so Beau's influence is still pretty strong in the family.  :)

Ah yes, I always plaster my vampires in makeup. Especially the "bad makeover" makeup from Ambitions :D. Right now I think Stoker's wearing eyeliner and blush, and Magpie's got some bad makeover eyeliner on.

There are of course exceptions to every rule. ;) I think my problem may be that the mother's genes aren't strong enough.

Two of Forest's daughters drank Vampirism-B-Gone before they moved out.  Here are before and after shots.

Interesting note:  none of them have gotten fangs after aging to young adult.

They are beautiful vamps and beautiful regular sims! Congrats Pam! But why would you give them vamp be gone?! Being a vampire would have to be the best thing in the universe! Yesterday when mine turned, you could tell it had been awhile since I played one. I had all their stuff in the yard and no house. They were mixing drinks and suddenly that moodlet came on. I was like "Oh man I can't believe I forgot they have to be inside in the daytime haha." I quickly paused and built a house lol.

Well, I had a couple of reasons for turning them normal.  Vampires on their own don't always take good care of themselves.  They say outside too long and don't feed themselves right.  I was afraid they wouldn't survive their entire lifetime if they stayed vampires.  Mustard is still a vampire, though.  Plus, all of these kids are family oriented and I hope they'll have families of their own.  By being vampires, it would almost guarantee that their kids will be vampires.  If they are normal, there's at least a chance of normal Sims being born into the town.

When Seraphina had been outside long enough to be smoking, she had a -50 moodlet for 3 days!  I was scared to leave her out any longer.

Yeah that is scary. I wanna find out what happens, but I'm too into vampires to attempt it with mine. I was thinking about turning one of the townies and leaving them out just to see what happens. Probably the thing your Dynasty was known for. Vampire deaths haha. Hey, are you ever going to write another story? You are an amazing writer!

I haven't really been able to think of anything to write about.  Plus, with Medieval soon to be released, I'll be really busy writing articles for the Medieval Guide with Carl and Metro.
