The Sims 4 Immortal Dynasty Challenge

I'm not in game but I believe you can go into build mode and add the ice skating or roller skating rink to a lot. I've added one to my own lot before.
Otherwise, the ice skating or roller skating rink will randomly appear in an empty area (not necessarily a separate lot) in your world along with a food stall.

I just checked EA's online gallery and found over a dozen rinks made by other simmers in the Community Gallery.

I've only ever noticed ice skating rinks spawning in my game: twice in Willow Creek (once in front of Oakenstead near the basil plant, another time northeast of Daisy Hovel) and once in Newcrest (between Fern Park and the grilling/monkey bars area).
Everyone's had different experiences, I'm sure, but just for your reference.

oshizu is correct. MAXIS doesn't have lots for the skating rinks. They will spawn at random.

This might be a silly question, but oh well.  Whenever I play a family for multiple generations, I like to do a community graveyard which includes the gravestones not only from my family but everyone in the world whose gravestones I can find.  So I'll visit say the Goth household and if Mortimer's urn/gravestone is on the lot somewhere I'll drag it into my sim's inventory and drop it off at the graveyard.  Would that be allowed in an Immortal Dynasty (provided I use one of the allowed substitute cemeteries)?  I ask because I see there are restrictions on editing non-home lots and I'm not sure if that would count as editing.  For whatever reason collecting gravestones really adds to the game play experience for me lol.
