Just got back into playing and thought I'd try (again!) for the dynasty.

I'm really struggling with parties though. Certain goals will not complete. For example listening to music or playing games, even though household members are doing these things. Anyone got a solution?

Thanks Metro. Am I within the rules if I use the cheat box to complete them or shall I just wait until the glitch is fixed?

Unfortunately, no one knows when the fix would come, so you can definitely use a cheat. Just make a note when you completed any party requirements for HOF purposes.

It's okay with me. Usually, if we don't make a rule against something, it's okay.

The official Maxis gallery doesn't have many options for people who don't have EVERYTHING installed...guess I'll have to just use lots I save to my gallery from 'hoods.  Did those items get deleted, cause I KNOW there used to be more.  I always use Newcrest because I can make it however I like with the lots, but being restricted to only Maxis really reduces your choices.

Hi, the rules have gotten me a bit confused do heirs need to max all toddler skills, get A's in school and complete a childhood aspiration inorder to become immortal or is it just one?

The only requirement for a child or teen is to attend all school days.

If you want to expand the size of an heir's collection, you can have that heir max all toddler skills, get A's and complete an aspiration. But if you don't do that, it's okay, that heir will just be limited to 8 items instead of 11.

Hiya! I'm new to the challenge so I'm just clarifying to make sure that the GeekCon Social Event counts for the requirement (just got that finished).

For playing games, direct multiple sims to play video games on their phones.
For listening to music, use the Action/Group feature and have multiple sims "Listen to [genre] music together." Make sure the speaker/stereo is on first.
For the Black and White Bash, though, I find completing the "Listen to piano music together" goal impossible 98% of the time.

Hi again. I'm not on the Challenges Team, but I'm pretty sure that "Social Events" refers only to dates, parties, and toddler play dates, but not to festivals.

Sure, the Veterinarian skill is valid, as it's a 10-level skill. Pet Training, however, is not. And there's no actual Vet career. As for your earlier question -- the Festivals don't count towards your party requirement. This has to be something that you can get a gold medal for.
