It is intentional but being able to move in a child sim without his/her parents is just wrong on all levels.  I know this is a game, but I always compare it to real life ... just seems like kidnapping the poor child.  You befriend the parent, ask him to move in, then say: "hey sorry bud, I don't want you to move in, I just want your child.  Off you go now."

I apologized if I mess up your dynasty.  I was just so used to sims 3 not being able to move in children by themselves, and didn't realize sims 4 you can do it.

My dynasty didn't suffer at all, so no apology is necesary. I had two spaces in my household at the time, so I invited Don Lothario to move in as a spare.  When I checked his age bar, it was already all bubbly.  I had him adopt a child-stage boy who never married into the family.
Reading your dynasty thread, however, I understand better about keeping the household size lean. Thank you so much for sharing your dynasty with us.

Does the snap dragon plant take a while to be harvestable? When I hover over it, no menu appears, grayed out or not.

Is the snapdragon on your lot or elsewhere? Usually it's one of the fastest plants to harvest.

No, it was still in the world. I sent my founder and she snatched it up.

If you're off your home lot and waiting for a plant to grow, anything you're waiting for will feel like it's taking a long time.  If you're waiting for a snapdragon to grow out of a pot, try looking around and seeing if you can find a wild one.  They seem to grow slightly faster.

Yes, another heir can still do and count it.  Your tense heir just cannot choose another tense whim (talk to mirror while tense) - has to be seven different emotion whim per heir.  The whims don't have to be unique among heirs.

No.  If Gen one does birthday/dinner/house/costume/wedding - gen two can do the exact same 5 type of parties if you choose to.

No worries, let me make this clear. 

Heir #1 -- chooses to take bath (Tense)
Heir #1 -- chooses to vent (Tense) -- NO
Heir #1 can't choose two tense emotions for requirement.  You can still do the 2nd tense whim for points, but you can't count it as requirement.  You need seven different emotional whims. 

Heir #1 -- chooses to take bath (Tense)
Heir #2 -- chooses to take bath (Tense) -- YES
Heir #2 can repeat heir #1 emotional whims.

My Sim did not eat that many and stil got the gender I wanted.  She ate anywhere from 3 to 5 a day.  Going to try just the music and see if that works.
