I love this EP! So far I've been lucky and not had any bugs ruin it for me (thank you Technical Help guides on manual uninstallation which I think is probably why they've not hit yet!)
I've played it twice with a new Sim. Lily La Morte became a level 3 celebrity on my first day of play, and today I've gotten her turned into a vampire and engaged to Beau Merrick. Out of all the EPs released, I think this one is the one that encourages me to let my Sim go out and play; with the other EPs I visit the same places all the time (Central Park; the Art Gallery and that's about it! Unless I needed to go somewhere for a Sim's profession). I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Bridgeport, but I like it. There's only two things that I think could make it nicer (for me, anyway) and that would be a nice park area like Central Park (the ones in BP don't compare) and if it looked a little less grubby!
Regarding dancing on counters, Lily can dance on them but on one section of the bar/counter she couldn't because of ceiling decor/lights, maybe you're clicking on a bit of bar your Sim can't dance on glic?
Grr Argh!

I am getting annoyed by the paparazzi.
They are even sneaking in my home , even past the electronic gate.
One time I was playing the Striker family, and Richie was fishing in his pond in the backyard, and at least 2 paparazzi showed up (at different times).

Does anyone know whether the tattoo age effect has been removed with the patch?

The only thing I do not like about it is that the apartments are 1 househouse hold only, and you can not visit your NPC neighbors house.  Other than that I rate it 9.5/10. I live in the "sub-urb" area and at 2 star rating for celebrity.

Welcome to the forum, mk847.

Is Party Animal useful as a trait for mixologists or others in Late Night?

It is not that useful for mixology, but it is vitally important for celebrities, which to get a better status, you have to host parties or go to others.

Speaking of parties, how boring they are.  I finally went to a party at Billy Caspian's in Riverview and everyone was at least dancing and talking, that was cool.  For the most part, someone is sleeping, fighting or fixing something to eat when you get there. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

OK, it is more of a second impression now ;D but I like some things I noticed, and some I don't.
Babies have much more facial expressions, and are moving more than before. And they form relationships with those who care for their needs! They seem harder to please but at least there is some result out of it. My 4th gen in dynasty toddler is almost a friend with most of the household members and there is 6 of them. They still look indifferent while being carried around, and it wouldn't be bad to have them being able to sleep in someones arms - as in RL.
I also like drinks part, and upgraded party thing, now pool party is really looking like a party instead of regular drinks that are like water in glass.
I don't like butler and I fired her as quickly as I hired her :D
I really don't like that weather in SV is also changed from forever sunshine to sometimes cloudy and gray >:( It is more realistic, but I really enjoyed that bright sunny weather.
Fountains are great, but I have to look for some tips. I keep getting weird shape and it won't let me build as big as I want it. And I tried coloring it with light, but it doesn't work that well.
I like those names that different fruit add to a drink. Also love that you don't have to bake ambrosia to have more use of life fruit, or just have one fruit-one day. Now it is one fruit 4 days with 4 glasses of nice drink that gives you some nice moodlet too. And I love that now lifespan can be wider with this, so if Sim just had YA birthday and have lifegiving drink he will get additional days, it is not stuck at 21 days till adult.
I really really liked that funny dancing walk after they woohoo away from home. I was laughing so much about it! And I love all those new moodlets.
It seems that locals now age while not on vacation. So far they would age only while playable Sim is there, but now, I'm shore they do age regardless. Or, that strange aging bug spread there too with reverse effect.
I can't remember more now, but I'm shore there is.

I've always been a sucker for all the amazing vista in The Sims 3. All neighbourhoods have amazing views but for me Bridgeport takes the cake especially across the bridge at the hills where the celebrities live. I moved my celebrity Sim in the vacant house next to the Bling household and had her celebrate her birthday (and get married) against the gorgeous backdrop of the city at night. I have the screenshots to prove it but as I'm typing this from a mobile device I can't upload it. But nevertheless what an amazing moment to have, even if it's in a game.  :P

I also noticed some great areas while searching for gems and metals. Now I think I understand why things aren't as green as in other towns. Outside the city there's a suggestion of alpine ecology, with some dramatic mountains and waterfalls, hints of snowy peaks, together with the slightly faded lighting and faded colors of the ground and foliage.

I've just noticed that the fading browns and greys feels a lot like the visuals from the (I think) one of the first Sim titles to hit the console, The Urbz: Sims in the City. A lot of the gameplay is similar too, like taking the subway (complete with invisible trains, except for the Central Station lot), high-rise apartment living (minus the neighbours though), celebrities. I loved playing that game to bits, which probably explains why I love LN the best out of the EPs so far.

I was thinking Rocky Mountains. Alpes have one of the most beautiful natural environment, and it is very well preserved, almost intact, not to mention that there are no that big Metropolises around. I love this pic:

Sorry if someone already mentioned this- I was watching a review of late night (I don't have it yet) and the person said you can move the pictures up and down on the wall & showed it on his screen! Have you guys not noticed this, yet? This is so cool!

Great pic, Anushka. I meant alpine in a generic way; maybe I should have said high-altitude ecology. It reminds me of some areas in Alaska and the Sierras I've been to, not including the city.

@Beddy: I'm so happy about that change. I've been wanting that forever. :)
