One of the tasks I got for the Weenie Roast was to have 3 sims roast marshmallows at the same time.

Thanks for this list! Even if some of the requirements change, I can at least be prepared for most of the events!

Could someone please kindly tell me how to plan those parties other then 'house, dinner, wedding, and birthday'? These are the only options I have got when using the phone. And also how can I plan a date at home?

Planning a date is done by picking the Romance option on the conversation 'wheel' and if your relationship with the other Sim is high enough romantically, the option to have a date will appear there.  Dates are free and when you start one, it will give you the option of where to have a date.

Do you have the digital deluxe version of the game?  That's where the black and white parties and incognito parties come from.  I'll edit the post to reflect that.

I see! Thanks a lot for your help! I also realise that the sim cannot pick the current location for date. My sim had to travel to somewhere else with his live in girlfriend in order to plan a date at home.

"have black and white food of excellent quality" is a requirement I have for the black and white party (obviously) maybe you can add it :) (although it refuses to register right now :( )

Thanks!  I'll add that to the list of possible requirements.

@MissTrips, thank you for gathering all this information. Your party guide is incredibly helpful.
I threw a Black & White Party for the first time last night.
When the Listen to the piano requirement appeared, I just ignored it and got a gold medal anyway.

For all of the social events (including dates), I've been able to neglect trying to complete just one of the requirements (just not the main one) and still get gold.

Regarding birthday parties, I've never gotten anything for a gold birthday party though I've thrown many.
I'm still afraid of trying the weenie roast, lol.

Regarding the house party - I have tried 4 times now, and every time I have gotten the goal to "flirt 5 times" instead of "X sims flirty at same time." Maybe because my sim is single? Anyway, very annoying because this sim this is going for the "eccentric spinster" effect, and I'd rather not have her initiate romantic relationships. (sigh)

When I've tried throwing the black and white party, this hasn't worked because I'm assuming there were requirements that would have been listed after it was completed, especially since it showed up right when the party started.  If only it were listed at the end of the party instead of the beginning.

Wow, thanks for sharing that point. I was surprised how easily I got gold on the Black & White party.
Now I realize that I was just lucky because the piano requirement showed up after I'd completed a number of other requirements.

@Sannara

Thanks for that tip!  I will add it to the list of possible events for the party.  When I did my  party testing, I had a full household of 8 sims to use, and two were in a romantic relationship (to test out dates and the wedding).  That may have been why there was no  flirt x times for me.

If anyone's managed to successfully 'Listen to piano' , I'd love  to know, because I still haven't managed that!

For Birthday Parties, I had to "Play a game with the Birthday Sim". I'm not sure what causes it to trigger, because I had them playing chess and the requirement didn't check off. I'm guessing you have to finish the game (which takes a lwhile) or play on the game table. "Make a Garden Salad" was also one of the requirements.

Not sure if it has been posted or not, but I had a Wedding Party and the Drink Fountain counted as having 3 drinks.
