Resurrected ghost won't join household

I had Juan Darer take Lacy Darer's grave from the junkyard and move it to his house. While leveling his gardening, fishing and cooking they became friends and started dating. Once he made ambrosia she wandered over and ate it - coming back to life. Then she left my lot and apparently vanished. I can't find her household and when she comes to visit I can't add her via shift-right click-add to household. Juan also can't propose - there just isn't an option for it. And try for baby is greyed out because she has too many sims in her household. I've worked so hard to get them back together and now this?!? What can I do to get her into my household? Any advice is very appreciated.

Hi, so here's what I think happened because I had a similar thing happen with a clone of a sim. That sim has been moved into the household with the paparazzi, performers, shop keepers, etc. As far as I know, there's no way to move them out of that household. You might (keyword there) be able to if you invite them over to a party using the Legendary Host LTR (a performer moved into a townie house after I did this, however said performer had once been a full townie, hence the maybe). If you want to try again with the whole 'getting them together, make the living person a witch, max his magic capabilities, use a love charm on the ghost and be smooched, resurrect the sim, and then de-zombify them. They'll try to run off the lot so call them back over before they do. You'll be able to talk to them and hopefully move them in (done this twice now for my Immortal Dynasty and it works really well).

But she does come over anytime I invite her over. They have a full friendship bar and are bf/gf. There just isn't a propose or ask to move in option. So I don't think the party method would unlock that, would it?

Parties do remove sims from their roles, so it might work to get Lacy to move in (whatever role she could be occupying). Some sims are allowed to befriend and go steady with other sims while in their roles.

The problems with proposing are a limitation of resurrected ghosts. The workaround is to travel with the resurrected ghost and propose/get married there. But you need them in your household to do that.

I do find it odd that not even the cheat will add Lacy to the household. Um, are you sure that you have testingcheats on? Does it work on any other sim?
