Sims 4 Cemeteries?

I'm pretty sure this isn't a build post since I'm asking about the urns/tombstones.

Has anyone tried creating a cemetery lot yet? Do the tombstones remain on the lot if they are placed there?

I really don't like keeping ghosts in my house and I don't want to release them either. I'm kind of torn.

Someone on the EA forum created one and posted pictures of it so I have to think it would work.  However it was made before the ghost patch and I don't know if your cemetery will be haunted or not.

I've seen that too, i think, but it wasn't very clear. Like you said, it was made before the ghost patch too, so I'm not so sure about making one. I don't really want the tombstones to just dissappear.

Should I do a beta-test in another save?

I think that's a great idea.  Would help everyone.

I haven't made a graveyard but I do have a few tombstone that I put in the corner of the park in Willow Creek and they have stayed there and the ghost come out to wonder around the park at night. So making a lot just to put your tombstones on should work fine.

This could be an interesting question for the TS4 dynasty challenge.  We're not allowed to alter any lots in that but I wonder if we could get a small, empty lot to designate as a graveyard.  I'll see if anyone posted a question about it in that thread and if not, I'll go ahead and do so.

The team is discussing the cemetery situation for the TS4 dynasty challenge.  Most likely we are going to designate a lot as graveyard - seems like the simplest solution for now.  Will update dynasty thread with the decision.

A major thanks to grimsoul and everyone for their responses.

The tombstones stay on the community lot (I put them next to the chapel) and they do stay there in my case. They can also be moved without going into build mode. I however, haven't visited them yet during the night so I haven't noticed any ghost sightings just yet. But I'm not quite sure if other sims (non-household) can interact, take into inventory or release soul. As of now I've fenced the tombstones off just in case.

Maybe the dynasty challenge can just put precautions on the graveyards in which it only serves as, a graveyard. It's actually really interesting, other than the option of releasing them.
