Teen Career Overlaps With School Hours: Why?

I've noticed that the teen Manual Labor Career has the hours: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

That directly conflicts with high school hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Why would they do that? Any ideas?

Although, I have noticed that it is much easier for children and teens to earn and maintain the highest level A. In fact, it's so easy that I stopped having them do homework for a while and kept them home from school to paint to try to find all of the possible paintings for this thread:

So, I guess that having a teen career during school hour could potentially not hurt their school performance much, but I still wonder why they did it.

Any ideas?

I think you might find that it is on the weekends only.  Confusing txt, I missed it the first time round too.

I have a teen in that career - it is weekends only.

I wish they used different text colours for the days on and off, and I'm not sure they are using the red and black consistently across all careers.  I think green for days on and either red or black for the off days would make more sense.  Every time I look at the job offer screen, I'm not sure if red is highlighting the days on, or means "no work on this day".

I wrote a guide about teen careers. Might help with the days on/off. No job overlaps school hours. Some come close but I always had just enough time to get them to school.

The red days are for days off, in your picture.

Thank you, @ManiSims, now I want to go look at all careers, teen and adult, because I always thought work days were in red. I guess it's inconsistent. Is that what you're saying?

That may be worth mentioning on the official forum as a minor issue.

Haha, no problem I used to get confused by the colors too. But no, I believe the red being off days is the same for all careers, so it's not inconsistent.
