I've really enjoyed reading your legacy story so far, KTK10. Don seems so sweet and Dina so - not. And I like the story. I sure hope Jaxon doesn't get involved with Dina, but I'm inclined to think that may indeed be the case. (Go for Nina, mate, she's much friendlier). Jaxon has such a lovely, bubbly personality. It's a bit of a contrast with his sister, but I like that they get along anyways.

Best of luck with the rest of your legacy. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Also, at the moment I am getting the dreaded Forbidden 403 error - denied access to anything on this site. I managed go through my history to be able to click on this reply - but I'm not sure if I will be able to read anyone else's stories or post any more on this one until it gets resolved.. sorry!! I am still able to read Personal Messages - but nothing else.. sorry!

@Ginj - I know what you mean! It can be so frustrating, it's like missing an episode of your favourite soap! hahaha. Hope that your tech problems clear up soon as well.

What a strange day it has been. Karly and Jaxon went off to school fine, Don manged to read one of his books towards his new Renaissance Sim aspiration (I just wish he would complete at least one!) and I went to work. After the kids got home, Jaxon came in with an A and Karly had managed a B. Jaxon was tired and went straight to bed for a nap and Karly decided to work on her motor skills



Don was watching her and thinking of how proud he is to have two such amazing children



But as he was looking closer at Karly, he was beginning to think that maybe not everything was ok with her



Don "What is it pumpkin? I can see that something is bothering you. Can I help at all?"

Karly "Oh no Dad!!  Everything is absolutely fine!! Don't need to worry about me"

Don "What's that supposed to mean? Are you saying that there is something wrong with Jaxon?"

Karly "Nope.. Not saying anything like that! Am as happy as can be"

Don "Watcher.. are you worried?"

Little bit... mmmm..



So I get home from work and Don fills me in with the funny feeling he has about Jaxon. So I thought that some French Toast and a little chat might help me to find out if there was anything up with him

Jaxon ".. so I then multiplied all that together and gave the answer to the teacher and he was really happy!"



*clapping hands* Jaxon that is wonderful. Oh you must have been so proud of yourself!



Jaxon "I was Mum. In fact I've been thinking that I have been doing so well not only in school, but I have finished my rolled aspiration and also half way through my second one.. that I should, you know, get a holiday or break or something"



Oh were you? hehehe.. What did you have in mind, my genius boy?



Jaxon "Well it's kind of a big thing, but I think it might be ok.. I mean.. I've done almost everything I can to be a top notch kid.. *embarrassed*

Jaxon "Mum, calm down. It's not like I'm giving up a huge amount of my life.. it's only 4 days.. plus I want to start living my life now.. not waiting for it to start"

DON!!! Where are you??

Don "I heard. I'm thinking"



Karly "Well I have LOADS to say.. How could you? I've not even had a chance to play together on the monkey bars or even on the pirate ship that Mum and Dad brought us.. You are sooooo selfish!!"



Jaxon "I'm selfish? You have got to be joking! I'm just a spare around here, but I work so hard to make sure that I not only meet all of YOUR requirements, but exceed them"





Awkward.. I know...

Karly "It's because of that girl isn't it? Huh?? The one you have been talking to over the phone and on the internet?.. Yeah, that's right.. I've heard you."






Jaxon "Karly, I'm tired. It's not just because of her. I'm ready to start my life. You are my sister - you will always be my sister and I will protect you with my life until the end of my life. Please.. You are the most important girl in my life and I can't see that changing when I age up."



Okay guys.. *awkward smile* this is a difficult decision for your father and me.. you will need to give us some time ok? What are you thinking Don"

Don <silence>



Don "*whispering* Watcher? I am so emotional right now. My little boy is growing up.. I just don't know how I can let go - but I am just so dang proud of him"

Your not the only one Don.. he is just an amazing kid



Don "OK!  Jax, I think you need to go and give your Mum and me some time alone.. Karls - why don't you practice with your chess?"

Oh my, what a chapter! From "savor the moments of childhood, Jaxon" to "hm... the kid's got a point" in a few moments. I really do hope it's not all for Dina though. 

I love the close-up shots on the kids. The combination of Alena's eye color and Don's hair really is a good mix. They look like such angels.

@Ginj - I'm not sure Jaxon is ready to listen.. all young boys want to become young men too quickly!
@imayu94 - I struggled a bit with choosing to either age him up early or not... It's a difficult one, but I keep thinking that there isn't much left for him to do as a child - but am I ready to throw him into being a teenager yet either     Will have to wait to see how the game goes I think.

OK.. Action figures.. no more playing on the drawing table or the child violin.. even playing on the monkey bars and the new pirate ship we brought you kids will no longer be an option.. You will also have NO skills.. at all.. Do you understand what is going to happen?

I haven't met Dean yet - but we can deal with that problem later.. my concern is you right now. I need you to trust your Dad and I. We would never allow this if we thought it was simply because of some whim. You are an amazing and insightful girl and I'm so proud of you - but Karly, look at me..

That was great! So much humor, and what a lovely looking teenager Jaxon is! I just love how Alena and Don are a really tight couple, it's very cool.

@Playalot - Jaxon is quite the hottie! I have him as a young adult in one of my files and he is such a great mixture of Alena and Don.. just got to get him on the weights now. hahaha. Yeah, after a rocky start I don't think there is anything that will break Alena and Don up.. it's almost too easy to write for them now... And Dean?  Well, little Miss Dina  Ie: Trouble, did say to Jaxon when she met him...."Just call me Dean, all my friends do"
