Ghosts
« on: October 21, 2014, 06:28:09 AM »
I know I've seen information about the new ghosts in Sims 4, but I can find anything and the search function is still only searching the Sims 3 side of the Forum.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Simsvip has some nice reading about the ghosts.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

What information did you need on ghosts?

Also as a work around to the search just type "site:http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/ ghosts 2014" into google without the "". Since all posts are dated it'll make all of the ones for sims 4 on top if you add 2014

There's someone on Facebook asking how to get the ghost of someone who died in the game.  I was sure I had read something here about how ghosts work.

Sense there isn't a graveyard, is there a way to see ghost of sims that have died in town?
I've noticed sims on my friends list that appear to be ghost but there is no interaction with them when clicking on their picture. Is there a way to summon these sims to your lot?

Maybe we should have a ghost guide, as I'm sure you're not the only one.

@ grimsoul,  I think the only way to summon a ghost is if you have (during their life) bound them to a book of life.
I'm not a fan of my relationship panel being maxed out with dead townies that I might have accidentally met while in the park etc either. I have way more ghosts than living sims in there. It would be good if there was a different tab just for the dead.

I figured as much, but was hoping I was missing something sense they was still in my friends list. If there is no way of interacting with these sims there should be a way of hiding them in the friends list.

@Pam, thanks for mentioning this. I was wondering why my forum searches weren't turning up relevant information.

Coincidentally, I was searching for info about ghosts.

Have you all played around with them much? What do you think? I have experimented with them only a little, and, so far, they don't seem that excited.

Although, I will say they are a big improvement from ghosts in The Sims 3.

What kinds of fun things are you all doing with ghosts in your families?

Thanks!

@grimsoul, I actually really like seeing dead relatives in my friends' list. Even though I can't interact with them, it's nice to have a "memory" or family members who have died.

If it was just family members or real good friends it would be alright. But like Playalot was saying it's all those sims I've just bumped into that I wish I could hide someway.

Oh, you know what, I've been playing most of the time with aging disabled so I haven't experienced that yet. Now I get it. Thanks.
