Ghosts and Pools coming

I am not happy about the ghosts or gnome. I never liked them in sims 3 and I don't like them in sims 4.
I am however very happy to see them bringing back pools. I always loved making funny shapes with them and I feel with the new sims 4 build mode, it will be a lot easier to place them. I just hope that they create above ground pools as well.
I also hope that in future patches they bring back basements and toddlers. If not in a patch, at least in an EP.

Question, do ghosts constantly make annoying sounds like they did in Sims 3? I ask because my only real problem with having playable ghosts in Sims 3 was that they made constant bizarre noises all the time even when they were sleeping that quickly went from immersive to annoying, ghosts would probably be my favorite life state otherwise.

Has anyone seen when the pools will be released? I didn't think they had given an exact date, but some people on Facebook are insisting that it is the 1st. I held firm and said I was sure it was just some time in November and someone told me to go look. Well I hate venturing into the official forum, so I tweeted SimGuruDaniel and this is the result...

Really excited for pools. Does anyone know if there have been any lounge chairs shown off yet? I was surprised to find none when I was looking in game today in preparation for the patch and am hoping for some to come with pools.
