Changing Last Names

How do I change the name of my sim when she marries?  I'm all for independent modern women, but then the babies are born with her last name instead of Dad's.  Yes, I know I can change the babies' last name, but it would be nice if the whole family shared the same name.

Honestly I think it was just an oversight. Either that or a solution for people who didn't like the Name-Name, didn't want to swap names etc.

I don't see why they couldn't have something like the Town Hall where you could change a Sim's name, I used that a lot more than I thought I did and now I'm kind of missing it. Even something like clicking on your mailbox to change a name would work...
