I'm really irritated with weebly at the moment cause the dates are messing up on my posts which puts them out of order. I've made sure all the links are direct links but if you try to use the <<< previous and forward >>> they be may be messed up. I've spent most my day trying to get this fixed but I'm working on a new story now it should be up in a bit!

You don't have to be fixed at one thing you know. Sometimes it's okay to keep it simple, just let it be, let it go, (sounds like you-know-what, lol).  You can protest later to weebly though to get it fixed. I had similar problem as yours when I see thing not look what I supposed to be lol. I focus too much to that thing and I almost forget for what’s important. I think that’s a downside for being a perfectionist #itsnothelpatall #slapped

I think readers wouldn't mind because we always use the links that you provided. So, that’s already helped a lot. It would be a nice touch just to add hyperlink to each story for the next chapter, which would be easier. I usually did that :)

She'll most definitely have a bit of her mom and dad in her question is which part is going to shine and will it be magnified?

I think that depends on Red and Gideon as her parents. I wanted 'em both. She’d be kind like her father and tough just like her Mom but in her own way. She’s not a copy of her parents, so she would be beautiful in her own way ;)

Well, well, well... Interesting! You always inspired me to do learn something new, justproud. Well done!

I hardly know how to link image to a post in a blog. I also noticed something different in:

Stories ---> Legacy Challenge ---> Red (Gen 1)

I believe the last time I got there, there's something that not appears just like now, hoho!

Haha, thankfully that our home is some kind of far away, if not I would bother you every time (until you kick me out from your house, hahaha) because I have so many things to ask lol. But, someday, yeah someday it wouldn't be hurt to meet in real life! I want to meet you in person ;D

(So I could get selfies with the author of Red and show it off to my friends, lol) #slapped for ulterior motive

From your story alone I learned to always be a better version of myself. Thanks for that ;)

Glad to know that Gideon (even that I still jealous of him for having Red :P) and Pace relationship are well. I love peace over war ahahah. Can I request a story about Guardian, pretty please? I really want to know about her, Gideon and Pace even more! :D I never thought something like this but the wedding was so wonderful. I’m glad that since Red met Gideon her life became so much better. Oh, I just couldn’t hold my tears! You better keep her safe, Gideon!

It’s also a nice touch to introduce one of Gogowars329 creations :)

P.S: One song that could describe my feeling for current story is this. Sorry I couldn't help myself for having a Music Lovers trait XD

I really like the way that you involved Pace in the wedding. That was an interesting way to address the fact that he and Gideon are friends. I'm also really beginning to enjoy the decorating you have in the house. At first I was wary of all the red, as it can overwhelm, but it's coming together quite nicely.

I'm eager to find out how Red is going to handle having a child in her life.

Also, I've started to do a day-by-day story the way that you're doing this legacy, not because I wanted to rip you off or anything, but because it really helps to control the story and keep myself from playing ahead too much. I play a day, post a day, play a day, post a day. I just haven't put it up here on the forum yet (but I will!). I'm going to start doing the same thing with the Drakes (maybe not day by day, but week by week is possible) in order to avoid getting too far ahead of myself and having to post six or seven updates back to back just to keep the story running.

I'm still enjoying Red and Gideon! Keep up the great work!

This is the 3rd legacy story I've found to my liking. It doesn't lag either since there are fewer pictures needed to load, so I can read the story smoothly. The other 2 are Playalot's and Ari's (no updates yet ari? :( )

Thanks for the wonderful story. Your sense of humor is awesome. My own stories tend to lean on drama and hurts, and tear jerking moments (even though I actually prefer reading comedy from other authors).

I haven't yet read the ones that are only linked from your blog. But I'm sure I'll enjoy reading them too! It's 3:21 am for me already. Will have to read the other chapters tomorrow.

Keep the great stories coming!  :)

(no updates yet ari? :( )

It's rude to ask in someone home, lol. I’m still preparing it for sure.

Back on track, so I wouldn't be kicked out :P

Oh, yes justproud it’s about the traits thing... I’m still clueless! I'm utterly hopeless when it comes to surprise or things that unknown lol (that’s why I hate those things lol) that goes the same when I want to guess thing about Kayleigh aspiration in Playalot place ::)  Could you give us a clue (at least for me) so that would be great while waiting the next update :)

P.S: Oh, hope everything going alright with the sites. That’s pretty messed up right now. I noticed there are something weird happening there and some of the image that should be there is not there. It’s missing. Hopefully it would be fixed soon. Finger crossed for you, justproud!

@ari Glad your relating to the story so much and enjoying it.

@Devin I invited everyone to the club thinking it would be more fun and well they made it look like that so I went with it lol. I don't consider it ripping me off. As an actual graphic artist (by trade) I learned imitation is the best form of flattery. I will say daily updates encourage you to not play ahead but the downside is that if you miss a day of updating then your behind (which can stack up fast). Hope it works out for you! I'm interested in how Red is with having a child as well. She's surprised me with being so happy about the baby being around (even when she's crying). Then again the trait is "Hates children" so child may be the stage she has the biggest issue with.

@Indira Glad you found the story and I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for the compliment about my humor :)

Site Update: Working on finding an alternative to Weebly. When I asked them for technical help they had me change my theme. I can't do that every time there is an issue. My eventual goal was to get a domain name and my own hosting eventually so hoping to find a good solution that will allow me to grow when I can financially do it.

Have you ever ask/discuss about this with someone? You don't have to face it all alone you know. You have friends here. You could ask in Member Zone and I'm pretty sure there will be a good solution for your problem.

Well, I just love to keep it simple so I use blogger instead for a file hosting ::)

If you wanted something more colorful, I suggest wordpress because there’s something that appeal you there relating to code stuffs which for me it’s like being stranded in another world ::) There also Tumblr, thing that I love there is so much variety. You not only can post stories but you can posting quote, conversation, video, music stuffs, ect. I think that would give so much variety while not updating to add more spice to your story, I bet that you get the bigger picture.

Well, that’s what I know. Hope it helps.

P.S: Remember to keep it simple. Just like Red said. There’s a beauty in simplicity ;)

Aww, that's a lovely update. A really touching chapter. Loved the wedding, and the joke about the police! lol  :)

What exactly is the problem you're having with Weebly? It's working fine for me (so far) and has for the last year or so.

Wordpress isn't a bad alternative if you get your own domain, but you'd have to pay for hosting to install it, and those costs can add up over time. Alternatively, there's always Blogger, but it's not great as a CMS.

I've considered putting guides and stories on Hubpages, but that's because I've been paid well from them in the past lol Formatting isn't ideal, but you can link the pages together in the order you put them up. No domain option, but it does okay with Google (in general, Panda hit pretty hard), which could mean even some external traffic for the guides you've written.

@Devin Basically at this point my site gets roughly 300 views on a slow day. Branding and how your site looks is important to this. I filed a support ticket cause their schedule poster messed up the date and I couldn't change it in the backend. They told me to change the theme I told them I wasn't comfortable doing that. They said its the first step of troubleshooting. So I did it but told them if this was always going to needed for help I wouldn't be going pro. They closed the ticket as solved at this point. So needless to say I am not paying for that type of support lol.

I did end up posting a page on the plans for the site. I'm completely shocked and blown away by the support I'm getting from the community. I actually cried a little bit (from happiness) lol

@Playalot glad you enjoyed it and also glad you didn't spit coffee on your screen this time lol

@ari the trick to simplicity is actually to make it the most complicated but it looks simple :) At least that's how I typically work. I don't do anything simple.

I'll be posting a new story tonight. Hopefully before midnight :)
