Spandrels

Please can somebody explain what spandrels are and how and where to use them?

Try experimenting by building a walled room. Then select spandrels and place the cursor over one side of the wall. Make sure you have walls up so you can see the spandrels. You can also place posts on every few spaces on the spandrel side so that you can see the design of the spandrel. I suggest using the 2nd to last example of spandrels as their design are clearly seen as soon as you place them.

This may be a little late for I just saw this msg now but if you check out the house that's directly across from the Landgraab's house it uses spandrels.
