Careful with the tea maker

My Sim has a tea maker, which she uses to make black tea and become focused.  I upgraded it to add an infuser, and now she also randomly gets +2 to inspired when drinking the black tea.  This isn't something I want.  It competes directly with the focused.  I guess I have to buy another tea maker now and not upgrade it with an infuser.
