How to become inspired quickly?

If you're in a career that benefits from the inspired mood, you should start getting career objects that contribute to that. Also, a couple of the lights that you got for Sims 3 expansions give an inspired aura.

I found this on another thread which should help. Basically it sounds like if you upgrade the tea maker, it gets your sim inspired +2 when drinking the black tea.

Black tea gives Focused, and the Infuser upgrade gives Inspired on random. Should drink Green Tea instead which gives Happy, if you really wants to try to get the unreliable Inspired from drinking tea. Happy will enhance your mood instead.

Job promotions usually unlocks and gives you a free copy of furniture that will grant the correct mood. Most of them should have a "View Inspired (or other mood) Item" action, use that to get the mood you need quickly.

My Sim often browses art online in order to become inspired.  I can't remember if there are any prerequisites in order to be able to do this.

Reach level 3 of instruments skills, then plunk/bow for inspiration, it takes around 45 mins but long-lasting for 8 hours inspired boost. Also research for art reference on computer if in painter career.

If you have an Art Lover sim, Admire any painting to get a +2 4h Inspired Moodlet. Can't remember how long it takes, but I did it every morning before my Sim left for work.

My Sim takes a thoughtful shower, or browses art on the computer. My cook browses recipes on the computer too! These all give them 4hr moodlets.

Reminisce about an "inspired" memory takes a few sim seconds.

With Outdoor Retreat, Cloudgaze or Stargaze give a whopping 6 hour buff.
