Shadow Realm?

Mixology receipe level 10, it costs 250 $ to mix it, my sim makes it always excellent but  after he drinks it, an uncomfortable +1 moodlet pops up as disappointing drink and nothing else. What's the deal with this drink ?

I haven't had anyone in my families hit lvl 10 mixology is the drink itself called shadow realm?

Yep, the drink name is Shadow Realm.

Maybe it is meant for Grim or a ghost?

I've had my level 10 mixologist drink them a few times now, each time she gets "Smooth Sipping: (From Drink) A smooth drink helps make any day brighter Happy +1 4 hours"

Maybe its a difference in traits? Like a foodie for example has bad experiences with food most sims get + moodlets for

Comparing with Granny smash 50 $ that gives me Happy +3, a same level drink as Shadow Realm for those 250$ it should give more then +1 happiness.

I totally agree, I was thinking that it might give you a day of life back or something, but nope. Not in any of my sims that I've had drink it. It's a pretty awesome looking drink though.

Interestingly now that we have ghosts my mixologist can no longer make Shadow Realm drinks. The drink is still there as an option in the 'make a drink' list but it is greyed out. There is also an empty speech bubble connected to it. I'm guessing you need a ghost on the lot maybe?

*edited, No, I now have a playable ghost in that family and still can't make the drink and still can't see what the speech bubble says.

Yep, working on that. it takes a while to level up in mixology though. I'll post back once I know if the ghost can make the Shadow Realm

It can be fast .... Stats.set_skill_level Major_Bartending 10 (of course this is assuming for testing heh) You can always put it back where it was replacing 10 with whatever number of level they were at.

If you send another sim away from the lot, and just tell your mixologist sim to work on mixology while you are gone, you don't have to micromanage so much making all those drinks, nor does it cost you anything.
