Thank you Anushka and ratchie. As for details I will se if I can keep that up, this save game crashes so often recently I've started to just focus on the main requirements for the challenge. Now for the next update that is mostly travel:

Cleo escapades in Sunset Valley are interrupted by a trip back to France. There was plenty of money left in the family funds even after buying the bistro and the town library for Maeve so there will be no cheap hotel this time. Maeve finally got to buy the large vacation home she had wanted ever since she was a teen.

There is not much furniture in this place but at least Maeve now has a much bigger kitchen to make french toast in. She tries to adapt her clothing and looks to what she thinks someone living in a castle should look like. She now has Cleo to help her out with tomb raiding so Alexander can finally do what he likes to do best in exotic locations.

Of course superathletic Cleo would have made a better family adventurer than Maeve but now it’s a bit late since her mother has already done most French dungeons. Cleo really enjoys following along anyway, especially since she discovered that in the sims world archaeology is just another world for stealing. She also takes her time to visit some foreign homes to get to know the new culture and its interesting new items.

Some things turn out to be impossible to take no matter how cool they would look in her bedroom. Egypt is the only destination left unexplored now. Even if every travel is a risk and might slow down the game even more they will get there sometime; they need pomegranates, relic collections and also never taking Cleopatra to Egypt feels wrong somehow.

The family returns home and even without the pedestals under the urns the spouse ghosts spend a lot of time in the house and with their old husbands. It doesn't seem quite right to have Victor and Arthur get involved with new women when they are pretty much living like they were still married and that might also get in the way of young women in town having unrelated children.

The house now has two floors but I’m not showing the upper yet since it’s mostly unfurnished except for two rooms. One is a training room for Cleo and the other is Arthur’s mysterious new room that the rest of the family haven’t seen yet that that has signs saying “Private room! Keep out! No monsters to see here!”

Great update Nilla. I don't think I've read a Dynasty where sims have done much travel so I'd love to see Cleopatra's adventures in Egypt.

Have you considered moving the spouses tomb stones to a family cemetery?

Thanks. I could move the urns I guess, but I kind of like having old sims around and most of the time they don't cause much trouble, the paparrazzis I got recently are a thousand times more annoying. I was planning to visit every location at least once so there will be Egypt pictures soon.

The family recently got a new pool so when it’s time for Cleo’s birthday they arrange a pool party for her and she gets a bubble machine as a birthday present. Cleo is the first in the dynasty that got a BFF in the form of fellow athlete Crissy Weinstein, who is standing right behind her in the picture. Other guests are Crissy's sister Alisha, John Mendez and party crasher Bart Wilder.

Alexander is not having such a good time, he feels a little drained somehow and he can't help noticing that something has changed about his sister Marisol but he can't quite figure out what it could be. The next day Cleo’s best friend John has the same kind of eyes and a mark on his neck.

The party is a success and Cleo gets the new trait photographers eye and the LTW physical perfection. Victor must really think his son is a little dull, during the party he kept wanting to convince Arthur to do things like dancing and pranks on people.

But what exactly is it Arthur is doing locked in a room all day? Ever since getting a death flower he's been experimenting with invention and finally sacrificed one of his pink diamond hearts to, as proof of his technical genius, create artificial intelligence in the shape of a simbot. The experiment goes a bit wrong when it is revealed that the simbot who is called Earl Crown sees himself as Arthur’s son and demands to live in the nice big house with his family.

Arthur suddenly becomes afraid of what his conservative father would think of a robotic grandson and demands that Earl leaves the house. Earl reluctantly agrees to this but also declares in a threatening mechanical voice that he will be back one day...

Unaware of the new addition to the family the other immortals go on with their lives as usual. Any heir of the family is expected to move in a new spouse as soon as they grow up. Cleo doesn't see why she would need to hurry so much but things take an unexpected turn when she visits an old childhood friend three days after becoming young adult.

Cedrik: “Cleo I’m so glad you could come over. You got to help me, there is something scary going on in this house; one by one my family members are turning into vampires! I think they are going to get me too soon, every time I turn to look at my cousin Rickie he’s staring at my neck. Also they keep burning the morning waffles; I have to get out of here! Can I move in with your family for a while?”

Cleo: “Vampires! So that’s what’s happening, when John asked if he could bite by wrist yesterday I just thought it was his really weird way of coming on to me. Well I guess you living with us would be all right, my parents keep nagging me to move a guy into the house anyway and that loser Aron I was going out with has a girlfriend now.”

Cedrik Neal who turns out to be the surprisingly handsome grandson of Malcolm Landgraab moves in and he has the traits athletic, ambitious, kleptomaniac, frugal and natural cook. His LTW swimming in cash is done instantly.

He certainly knows what his priorities are  :D
Malcolm Landgraab normally has really cute looking kids and grandkids, on one of my games he had a few kids with random people around town and all his grandchildren are super, super good looking!

I guess I might just have had bad luck with the Landgraab family in the past, every new family member have grown up looking almost exactly like Malcolm (including the women).

I'm getting a bit nervous with the rate vampirism is spreading in this neighbourhood so I'm really trying to move future spouses in as soon as possible, but I just figured from Cedrik's natural cook perspective the burned food in the picture would be almost as bad as being bitten :D

The household make a first short trip to Egypt and “under the hot desert sun” in the camp site Cedrik and Cleo realize that they have fallen in love with each other. Cleo somehow managed to get celebrity status from a friend with one star and just from interacting with each other and other family members they both somehow got celebrity status three stars and are now surrounded with nosy paparazzi that prevent them from taking the relationship further.

Cleo was supposed to help her mother with adventuring but since Maeve can push her own statues now she went alone and got in a bad mummy situation. The mummy looses the staring contest but Maeve loses the fight and is lucky to only be knocked out and not cursed.

When waking up the second time she finds out it time to return home and has to leave in the middle of exploring the Sphinx. Since she also got one star of celebrity from her daughter, her passing out in an isolated dungeon is somehow discovered and seen as a scandal so she loses some of the friends she just got in Egypt. She makes a mental note to always bring Cleo as mummy guard next time.

When they return home Alexander and Maeve are just about to become elders. Alexander is in the military career and when his boss demanded that he should learn martial arts he got very interested in that so for his birthday they all gather in the “athletics, martial arts and general Chinese stuff” room upstairs. After realizing that his bald head now makes people think he’s even older than Victor he quickly lets the hair grow out and since he believes in retroactive genetics he colours it purple like his daughters.

Maeve has a talent for missing all family birthdays including her own, her aging up happened on the way back home from work. She doesn’t need to worry about her immortality since all she needs now is the elder artwork. Two of her old friends have died but instead she became best friends with Bart Wilder during Cleo’s party and with an elderly woman in Egypt. She has all her op's already but does an extra culinary opportunity to bring burgers to make friends with the police station employees since they for some reason have been acting hostile to the family lately.

Two days later Alexander finishes the last of the art needed and Maeve can finally enjoy one of the divine meals she’s been able to cook since she turned young adult.

Immortality requirements for generation 3: Maeve Crown
1. LTW: Culinary librarian.
2. Career: Culinary.
3. Skill SuperMaxed: Cooking.
4. Properties: The bistro and the town library, fully upgraded.
5. Unique Rewards: Prepared traveller, Learned relic hunter, Food replicator.
6. Best Friends: Jonathan Burr, Elaine Daniels, Stefan Haley, Krissy Paul, Shadia Rashid and Bart Wilder.
7. Black ops: Cultural interview (Teen); The dish showdown (Cooking); Don't Cry (Gardening); Harvesting the best (Culinary); Bring the buffet (Culinary); Blown Away (Culinary).
8. Portraits, sculptures and photos: Toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult and elder.

Wow Nilla this is great update! I love the pics you took and the story following them. That photo with two mummies is awesome! Luckily she didn't get cursed as you said! And congratulation on your 3. immortal!
It is really nice to see a Sim in his museum room with all art work.
Great job Nilla, really great job!

Oops I wasn't going too post yet :-[ I just wanted to check if the pictures showed up right since they looked weird in photobucket and clicked post instead of preview. Sorry if I edit too much, word spell check doesn't catch everything and sometimes I need to read something ten times in English before I realize it sounds wrong. Thanks everyone who read and commented before :)

Cedrik turned out to be a little older than expected and aged to adult just a few days after moving in. He has been training strength with Cleo and now they both got “Adonis” bodies (skill opportunity about reaching maximum strength).

He is best friends with his now vampirised brother William Neal and they have some trouble getting people to believe they really are brothers since they ended up on opposite sides of the gene pool. The wonders of Sim 3 genetics; it really makes one wonder what generation five will look like.

Arthur got the dynasty in real trouble when creating Earl. The rejected robot son now shows up as town paparazzi constantly stalking Maeve and Cleo in the hope of getting some embarrassing photos to bring shame on the family. Maeve can't understand why that robot keep following her and referring to her as his sister.

It’s getting harder and harder to move around town unnoticed, especially for Cleo who is now in the criminal career and would prefer to keep those activities hidden from the public eye. Vampirism is also spreading all over town and it’s difficult to leave the house without getting hunted, even Cleo’s vegetarian BFF Crissy (the not so fit sport star furthest back in the picture) has turned vamp now. The blond vampire in the orange west is Cedrik’s disliked cousin Rickie Neal.

To escape the media and the monsters they make another trip to Egypt and this time around Maeve reaches VISA level 3 so they can afford better living arrangements.

Mother and daughter go exploring together this time and finally reach the Sphinx soulpeace chamber. Cleopatra is experimenting a bit with hairstyles while in Egypt. There were no mummies left which is almost disappointing since Cleo with her now maxed athletic skill and eight in martial arts could have beaten them easily.

Next update: More of Egypt, including a wedding. I’m done modifying this one now I think.

Cedrik spends most of the trip working on his art and photography skills and soon drops the traits kleptomaniac and frugal in favour of artistic and savvy sculptor. He shows a lot of imagination when he paints the view from the house balcony.

The dynasty gets it very first burglar in Egypt since they were out or sleeping at the same time for once. Cleo teleports in through the eyes of Horus they found in Abu Simbel and with the “can apprehend burglar” trait from Tosha she can actually fight him and wins, but afterwards everyone is just standing there in chock for two hours until the burglar leaves with their things.

In an attempt to avoid paparazzi attention Cleo and Cedrik have private wedding when visiting the temple of queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypts more successful female pharaohs. Hatshepsut would actually fit the name theme of this dynasty but it’s a bit too hard to pronounce.

It's a very romantic moment in the desert when they get married to the tunes of the Maeve singing “oh my mummy” (for the billionth time since she learned it this trip). Not exactly a big party with guests from both sides of the family but Cedrik’s parents Ramiro Landgraab and Jennie Neal are dead and everyone else he knows are his vampire relatives who wouldn’t enjoy the desert sun too much.

When Cleo returns from Egypt she goes back to her criminal career as before but is kicked out and told to come back a week later since none of the thugs at work trusts a pregnant woman as getaway car driver. She decides to work on her martial arts skill during her days off so she can come back as the toughest one of them all.

She has done all her athletic skill challenges already and generation five is on the way :)
