Nestor also spends time tutoring young people in the library which sometimes includes his own classmates.

Jessica: “You should know I don’t really need this; I’m a genius too I’ve just been to… busy to study lately. Who is that nosy girl following us around with a camera all the time? She’s annoying me, should I go and slap her?”

Nestor: “No please don’t do that, my mother tried it and it only makes them happy. It’s better to ignore them and they will run away crying eventually.”

The studying outing turns in to something like a date and they end up holding hands outside her house. Nestor has to be careful though since Jessica's vampire father Dexter always seems to be around her, almost like he's guarding her.

Nestor gets home late from the date and gets arrested on his way home. Cleo is very upset.

Cleo: "Haven't I taught you anything. When you hear the sirens you run immediately, you don't stay just to kiss the girl goodbye."

Nestor: "I see, so how about the three times you got arrested so far?"

Cleo: "That was just strategy, jail is a great place to make friends who might be interested in doing... business."

Nestor: "Really? You seemed pretty upset about it then. Whatever, I'm too hungry for this discussion now."

Nestor's relationship to his father on the other hand is somewhat better now since he mastered logic and starting teaching his father things instead of the other way around.

Nestor: "So you see stars are not distant suns as ignorant people claim, they are in fact just bright dots painted on the night sky."

Victor and Maeve are a little confused by the fact that suddenly, after all this time, other households have started throwing parties too. When finally decide to go to the Talley family’s party in the old Landgraab house it doesn't end too well.

Victor: "I've noticed that we seem to be the only humans at this party and that I started feeling suspiciously tired when entering the house. Admit it Madeleine, you just invited us here as refreshments."

Madeleine: "That's not true at all. Your daughter is my friend and I happen to like her and her long lovely neck...lace very much. Ooops!"

Victor: "I thought so, get away from me bloodsucker. Let's go now Maeve."

Maeve: "I will go soon. There is just something about men in uniform, he reminds me of my Alexander somehow."

Victor: "He didn't have fangs and glowing eyes, there will be no vampires in this family as long as I have something to say about it."

Ok, this is from wayyyyyy back on page 1, but I just read your whole story today. :-[

He got one job as paparazzi and then spent the rest of the day stalking people until they did something worth photographing.
Can you really get a job as a paparazzi?

Simstar, maybe selfemployed photographer has one career level named like that?

Nilla, I had to go back few updates, and no regrets for that! There are some parallels between Crown and Stuckson dynasties, both had fourth pregnancies by mothers who are martial artists, and got boys too:)
Nestor is great character! Logic is time consuming skill to supermax, but as I can see, he is doing excellent job with it, plus finding some smart young girls! Way to go Nestor! For some reason, I associate Nestor (the king) with pure physical lust, eating, drinking and chasing girls. But this Nestor is completely opposite, OK maybe girl part is similar :D
You have vampire neighbours, wow, in my game both neighborhood houses are empty and only 2 vampires are in whole town. And you're right about parties, it is strange to have at least one invitation every day.
Great story Nilla, and looking forward for more!

Simstar I'm glad you took the time to read this, the "job" happened before installing Late night and was really a skill opportunity for photography called paparazzi. I was just trying to include the black ops in the story but I guess I could have been clearer about that.

Anushka thanks and I noticed that about the stories too, the generation five skill is different though even if they are both geniuses. I don't remember that about Nestor from the book but it doesn’t matter much since I'm not that strict about my name theme and their personality traits anyway, king Arthur was not a geeky scientist for example. I had an vampire invasion for a few weeks but the number stays at about 15 of them in the neighbourhood now. They are seriously annoying but on the other hand I never got any problems with travel.

When it's time for her elder birthday, Cleo decides to invite all her friends and throw a big party in the China themed gym room. From the left are Crissy Weinstein, Sarah Renteria, John Mendez, Alisha Weinstein and LaShawn Talley (It's not necessary for anyone to remember these names; I just like keeping track of them). Madeleine Talley joined her daughter and crashed the party, probably just to annoy Victor.

It's hard for superatletic Cleo to age like this but she decides that with the help of the ambrosia she will go on training like she always has and continue to be strongest person in Sunset Valley. She also decides she wants her old "Cornelia Goth purple" coloured hair back.

The party goes really bad when Cleo's best friend and teen BFF Crissy dies of vampire starvation. The people around her, including her own sister Alisha, do nothing to help and just complain about her getting in their way. If only someone had been willing to give her a hand or at least a plasma fruit.

Dying as a vampire seems to be the most effective diet ever, ghost Crissy doesn't look like her old self at all.

Maeve: "Hello everyone, look who finally made it to a family birthday party. Is there something fun going on? Why does everyone look so serious?"

Death: "Ahahahaha, yeah they are having a good time. They are dying of laughter hahaha."

I suppose that it makes sense that death has the inappropriate trait. The strange thing is that the grave stayed on the lot permanently but when Cycl0n Sw0rd died on Maeve's young adult birthday party his urn disappeared after a while. I haven't had many neighbours dying on the home lot before so I don't know which alterative is supposed to happen.

The blonde girl Malinda Holland crashed the party and became Cleo’s last minute best friend replacement for Crissy. Now she just needs some elder art to be done with her part of the challenge.

I think Grim gets random traits in my dynasty every time someone dies he goes and mops the floor or makes a bed.

A clean death? That would be so odd with him/her taking away a family member and than trying to make up for it by cleaning something. I wonder if there are different deaths in every game save too, I never saw this one laugh like that until now.

Cleo colours her hair back to purple but it turns back to grey every time she practices martial arts. She wonders if it's the stink fumes that melts the hair dye away. The new ghostly housemate Crissy is very impressed by her martial arts moves.

Cleo tries to repeat the success of her young adult birthday party by arranging a pool party for her son. Nestor is not as popular as her though, his girlfriend Jessica and Latisha Talley are his only friends. The rest of the teens he meets now for the first time. His LTW as chess legend is already set and almost done and he gains the trait ambitious. The paparazzi girl made a last appearance before leaving the area just to mock Maeve for being falsely accused for a scandal.

Nestor gets engaged to Jessica the day after the party and they have a "private celebration" in Cleo’s sarcophagus of kings.

He can’t help to notice that something has changed about Jessica since she aged up, she was always a bit mean but she seems much colder now. He is still a very rational person and decides to ignore the feeling and go on with the marriage plans, even after she makes a strange comment about him looking good in a coffin...

Nestor as a young adult. He didn’t squint this birthday either so he no longer needs glasses and he has also changed his dressing style a bit.

Cleo has met all immortal criteria and can now enjoy an ambrosia dinner while Nestor still only gets to watch.

Immortality requirements for generation 4: Cleopatra Crown
1. LTW: Physical perfection.
2. Career: Criminal.
3. Skill SuperMaxed: Athletic.
4. Properties: Outstanding citizen warehouse corp and the 28 hour wellness gym, fully upgraded.
5. Unique Rewards: Meditative focus, Stone hearted and Body sculptor.
6. Best Friends: Malinda Holland, John Mendez, Sarah Renteria, Isidro Talley, LaShawn Talley and Alisha Weinstein.
7. Black ops: Push it! (Athletics); Adonis in the making (Athletics); I forgot the name* but ironically enough it was about training the police in martial arts (Martial arts); A package for you (Criminal); Case the joint (Criminal); Simoleons under the table (Criminal).
8. Portraits, sculptures and photos: Toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult and elder.

*Does anyone know what it is called? I’d be grateful if I could edit it in.

Yes Nestor really had great and detailed plans for his future already as a child. I wonder why I haven't thought about that trait since Victor, it's really good for fast advancement and everyone has had regular careers so far.

I'm just going to add a couple of posts that aren't real updates of the story. The dynasty is now halfway done so I’m doing a little recap on the founder and heirs and showing some of the house.

This is the house when Cleopatra reached elder stage. It wont change much more after this since my game now crashes after a while if I spend time in build mode and almost immediately after trying to use the customize tool.

This is a picture of the house and garden from outside. They have a little room that leads to the basement and a garage big enough for two cars but the household sims also carry cars in their inventories.

This is the first half of the now furnished upper floor. It has the invention room and two rooms that are now used for music and nectar making but they will later be bedrooms for generation six and seven.

The second half has the athletics room and Cleo’s and Nestor’s bedrooms.

The ground floor hasn’t changed much since Maeve was a child. She now has her own yellowish room, a few new items have been added and some wall and floor patters have changed but other than that it has been the same for a while.

The basement is now also a storage place for jewellery, metals, photographs and travel relics. Cleo was producing so many gems from breaking space rocks that there is now 20 different skull gems on the lot and there is still plenty of other gems left left. A few relics collections are complete but not the tomb ones or the Chinese vases and zodiac animals.

Beautiful house Nilla! Looks like there is room for everyone and everything. The basement museum is great! I especially like your spouse museum room (I'm assuming that's what's in the upper right of the basement picture.)

Technically I think it became a mausouleum (edit: I just looked up the word and maybe it's wrong to call it that when it's not a separate building) when I put the urns there, but it has a photo and sculpture of them and a painting they did so it also works as a small spouse museum.
