I was going to hold the weddings on community lots but forgot it so this picture is from the home lot with the nearby park in the background. Maeve manages to get through the ceremony without incidents despite being clumsy. Bubba looks a lot better with hair and is now no longer a Bachelor.

Everybody is happy for the new couple accept Victor who is mostly happy Maeve will now be in an excellent mood to be promoted. The guests are bride’s friends and the groom’s sister Marisol Bachelor. Lamar Andrews and the family's maid became wedding party crashers.

Marisol has never really developed a friendship with her much younger brother and she now lives alone in a small house in town. She is an inappropriate workaholic and seems to have some trouble finding love, she really seems interested in the maid who joined the party but is sadly rejected later in the evening.

The one enjoying the party the most is the mother of the bride who finally got some people to join her in playing with the sprinkler.

Maeve: “Oh I forgot to mention this. It might come as a chock to you but this is my dead grandmother Morgana, she is still with us in the house sometimes.”
Bubba: “Nah it’s no problem. I’ve been to the place my dad grew up and it was just full of dead relatives everywhere at night, they could barely sleep for all the ghosts making noise. Only one seems alright.”

Being from the Goth family must really give one a different perspective on normal family life. Bubba got a new purple Chinese outfit to prepare him for a honeymoon trip to Shang Simla.

The newlyweds go off to China with the bride’s grandfather as a somewhat unusual travel companion. Victor is just there to complete his photo collection. Maeve is the first sim to gain entrance the ancient Dragon Cave and wants to explore it while her husband is more interested in reading the book he brought with him.

Maeve: “That statue looks best over there… No wait; push it in the other direction, I see the floor switch now.”
Bubba: “Make up your mind woman, this thing is heavy! Why can’t you do this yourself?”
Maeve: “But you are so athletic and strong and I’m so weak, I have no body skill at all.”

Maeve’s adventuring method is a little strange, it involves someone else following and doing most heavy work for her. The reason is that I don’t want her to get any athletic points yet since I’m hoping she’ll get mostly cooking opportunities as her special OP and I’m planning the athletics skillmax for the next generation. That child will probably also be a girl since I got the idea to have generation 5-6 being males and generation 3-4 and 7-8 being females to have some more variation among the immortals.

Bubba: ”Hey, you just smashed a boulder with that gigantic axe you found! I thought you said you were weak. ”
Maeve: “It's a magical axe for boulders and clearing rubble; I don’t need any strength to use it.”
Bubba: “Is there a magical weapon for moving statues too? Then I might actually get some rest on this trip.”

Maeve got to visa level two adventuring in China and also found Pangu’s axe. Maeve and Bubba both got wishes to have first child during this trip and since Tosha still has a lot left on her age bar they can start trying for baby without waiting for his art skills to be complete.

I’m thinking of renaming Bubba something else. I might just have gotten the wrong impression from American media but for me the idea of someone named “Bubba” comes with the mental image of a big guy living in a trailer with his wife and ten children and everybody is also each others cousin.

First priority for Maeve is still cooking and after a few days she completes her cooking skill and also completes her LTW by learning all recipes. She can now make fresh ambrosia and Victor also gets to eat his favourite food for the first time in his long life.

Arthur: “I hope the food tastes well; have some perfect nectar to go along with it. I’m sorry I can’t offer more of this cake, it’s my special diet.”

Arthur finally repaired the last computer he needed for the electrician challenge and is now an immortal. He eats his first ambrosia at a small gathering of his friends in his new property Central Park. The fantastic upgrade that gave the park three stars was adding one more bench and a new grill.

He knows his friends don’t fill the requirements for ambrosia but compensates a bit by serving his daughters homemade lobster and baked angel food cake to all his friend accept April Song who ran away to fish instead. Ramiro and Chandra (furthest away in the picture) are the only ones among the friends that seem to have any children; they live together now in a house full of young boys and he is engaged to her sister Jennie.

Immortality requirements  for generation 2: Arthur Crown
1. LTW: The perfect garden.
2. Career: Science.
3. Skill SuperMaxed: Handiness.
4. Properties: Science building and central park, fully upgraded.
5. Unique Rewards: Super green thumb, Fireproof homestead, Teleportation pad.
6. Best Friends: Cliff Alto, Marisol Bachelor, Rob Burton, Ramiro Landgraab, Chandra Neal and April Song.
7. Black ops: Settle an argument (Handiness); Broken laptop (Handiness); Fix the election...machines (Handiness); The best evaporating dish is a clean one (Science); Fix it! (Science); Nourishment for herbivores (Science).
8. Portraits, sculptures and photos: Toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult and elder.

That was a lot of updates at once but I finally wanted to catch up with where I am in the game.

Arthur now has a full set of paintings, sculptures and pictures in the museum. I decided to have all immortals in their top of career outfits for their adult stage to make it look more different from young adult stage but Arthur’s picture is a bit different; science doesn't have a "best in class" picture category but he kept coming back from work burned so instead he is "A singed sim" on his.

Maeve got pregnant a few days after coming back from China. I've been playing male sims or self-employed females for so long now I forgot the annoyance of the forced maternity leave, she was at level four in cooking carer and wont advance in over a week now. She tries to make the best of that time getting closer to her old friends and making a few new ones like Jonathan Burr here.

The old woman in the picture is Jackie Bunch, the daughter of Lisa Bunch and VJ Alvi and last heir of both those families. She's been single all her life and maybe being a combination of evil, mean spirited and kleptomaniac has something to do with it.

Maeve who seems to have inherited some of her mothers love for the sprinkler and thus the bathing outfit also does a lot of cooking her last pregnancy days and completes her second cooking skill challenge with 50 meals served.

Her poor neurotic husband is a bit more nervous about becoming a father and checks the sink and brushes his teeth more than ever. He’s had a mid-life crisis and got the traits artistic, savvy sculptor and photographer’s eye like all other spouses so far but kept being athletic and also neurotic since that trait makes interesting paintings.

Maeve is also surprisingly calm during her labour, she seem to be able to distract herself from the pain by thinking of a castle she saw in France and now dreams of owning. The father to be totally freaks out and the great-grandfather does the same, even abandoning his ambrosia for the maid to take care of when he runs out of the room.

The new generation four immortal is another girl who is modestly named Cleopatra Crown. I tend to prefer shorter names but it would be hard avoiding that name when looking for legendary queens so she will probably mostly be referred to as Cleo. She was born with the trait brave locked in and she also got her fathers athletic trait since that will hopefully be her supermax skill.

Thanks, I really like following the story progression myself and I'm kind of using Victor to spy on the neighbours soI guess it shows in my writing and those families that I hope to marry in to the dynasty in the future will get always a bit more attention than others.

Good suggestion, that name will is definitely be on my list but I’m not sure yet, I have a few others on my mind too and sometimes I let the spouse family names affect the name choice like in this case Cleopatra was also inspired by Cornelia Goth.

Important note about names: Bubba went to the Town Hall and renamed himself Alexander (chosen because of Sims 2 nostalgia), hope it's not to confusing.

This is Cleopatra as a toddler and it looks like she inherited a lot from the Goth side of the family, those are definitely Mortimer's big eyes and thankfully there is no tendency towards the kissy lips from Bella's side yet. She prefers purple which will make the habit of the immortals dressing in their favourite colour even more monochromatic since her hair is also purple.

Like with earlier generations a lot of Cleo's short toddler time is spent with grandma posing for sculptures to make sure to make sure they are at least brilliant for the museum. The other sculpting station is placed outside for the moment so Alexander (no longer Bubba) can practice ice sculpting without disturbing Tosha's creative process.

Maeve is mostly busy working, cooking and teaching her daughter the toddler skills but also learns a little nectar making to finally complete her last adventure in France. She has no intention of completing the skill though; she spends half the time falling into the squished fruit (with horrible graphics) and finally gets tired of it and stops trying after having made very nice nectar once. Also later generations might need this skill as supermax if the music skills challenges prove too hard to handle.

There is something to this being behind bars... but what kind of person could look at this little face with the big brown eyes and think "she'd make an excellent master criminal"? Well, apparently me. The only careers that are purely athletic skill are sports and the thief branch of the criminal career and I'll have to admit the last one does sound more fun.

One day without any kind of ceremony Cleo suddenly feels a lot bigger and older and also notices that the big masterpiece painting on the wall looks a lot more interesting now, like if it didn't already belong to her family it would be so easy just to put it in her pocket without anyone noticing…

Birthdays have been acting glitchy lately so when Cleo grows up no one, not even Tosha that is standing right next to her reacts to it. Possibly hurt from being ignored by her whole family on such an important day in her life Cleo develops the trait kleptomaniac.

Having kleptomaniac as her only bad trait actually makes Cleo really nice compared to the rest of the neighbourhood children. Surprisingly many of this generation turn out to be evil which makes them great minion material for a master criminal but also pretty bad spouses. Her first two friends Isidro and LaShawn Talley who moved in to the old Landgraab place are a terrible mixture of mean, evil and a lot of anti-traits like dislikes art and the outdoors.

Maeve who recently aged to adult on her way home from work senses that something is a bit wrong with her daughters sense of morality and thinking that she neglected her to much as a toddler, she now spends a lot of time with Cleo helping with her homework and making sure she engages in healthy sport activities.

Maeve completes her culinary career and becomes five-star chef and is almost set for immortality only lacking one friend and two opportunities. Victor happens to be standing outside at the moment, autonomously having started flirting with a woman who claims to be single. Not sure if that other woman disagrees with that or if Victor just got in her way but its not like it matters to him who seems to take a woman being in a relationship as a good recommendation on whom to go out with.

The ghost of Morgana might not like that developement, she has been haunting the house a lot lately but usually just sits watching TV. One night she suddenly surprises everyone by starting sculpting and nearly finishes a robot sculpture. Unfortunally she disappears right before finishing and they needed that sculpting place so it had to be destroyed but it would have been interesting to the stats for it. All her statues have greatly increased in value since her death but what would a statue made by an already dead sim be worth?

Cleo jogs around town after school and tries to make friends with as many children and teens as possible. There where originally three teen boys living in the Neal household but the oldest called William grew up moved in with his girlfriend and the middle child turned in to one of the city’s first vampires. Cedrik here is the only one still living at home and still human. In addition to being a great chef he seems to share Cleo's enthusiasm for sports as well as her interest in other people’s shiny objects so they quickly become best friends despite the age difference.

Cleo ages to teen with a garden party and gains the trait disciplined. Maeve's job hours aren’t optimal for being present at birthday parties but she left good enough food for the party to become a success.

This is Cleopatra as a teen. She has her fathers and grandfathers eyes but more than that I can't tell (I have almost no memory for faces and that seems to be the case with sim faces too). Purple and black is going to be a theme with her.

Right after growing up Cleo starts working on her athletic skill, one can't be a successful master thief without being able run out of dangerous situations. Hiding her future plans from the family can be a bit tricky sometimes.

Tosha: "Of course I'll stand here if you need my help but I don't see how my old work uniform would motivate you more."
Cleo: "Just trust me grandma, it does."

Alexander have finally maxed painting and sculpting and is now able to fully replace Tosha as family artist. He shows great talent, even being able to sculpt brilliant art with a bowl on his hand.

Now having retired and reached the end of her life bar Tosha she can enjoy relaxing with her favourite garden activity more. She and Arthur have discussed the ambrosia issue and the risks of creating too many immortals and Tosha has accepted her fate. After seeing the Morgana having more fun as a ghost in the house than she ever did in her life she is not that afraid to die anyway and she also quite looks forward to haunting the sprinklers.

I love your Dynasty, especially the name theme. If I knew historical royalty better I'd make a suggestion.

Just wondering, can Alexander still cook with the bowl on his hand? I had a sim get one and she could no longer cook. It was unfortunate because she was the family chef.

I don't think he could cook but the bowl turned out to be quite easy to get rid off later, I just clicked on the bowl and it the option continue cooking came up and then it disappeared.

One day when enjoying a game of single chess death suddenly comes for Tosha. She became 99 days old which is at least a lot better than Morgana’s 80-something. Maeve and Alexander are the only ones left in the house to grieve at the moment since it's 2 pm and everyone is returning from work/school. After taking Tosha grim just stand around and glares at them for a few moments and then disappears.

Tosha is laid to rest in the new mausoleum room for spouses that has been built in the area that used to be empty because Victor doesn’t have any toddler-teen artwork. At first the urns were placed on sculpted pedestals but that caused major problems when the ghosts couldn’t find their way back to the urns and stayed in the house for days.

For Arthur especially it’s confusing to lose his wife and while still grieving for her have her come back and go around the house like nothing happened. In fact the family gets so used to the ghosts after a while that no one even reacts when they get involved in everyday conversations.

Tosha: “It’s strange I never thought of asking you this when I was alive, but what are your plans for the future? Is there a special boy in your life?”

Cleo: ”No, not yet. I suppose I'll have to do like all of the others have done; spend all of my teen years skill building and then as soon as I grow up marry the first decent guy I meet that can hold a paintbrush."

But Cleo's tastes are a bit more complex than that. One night out on the town she gets the desire to stay out after curfew and then to have her first kiss with this guy she just met, Aron Chapa. He is the grandson of the Keaton couple and is an evil loser with commitment issues - what a catch. Cleo gets first kiss and makeout then returns home at 2 am without having been caught by the police (never seen a sim teen pull that off before).

This is how the whole basement/mausoleum with separate entrances looks now. Another room will be added for generation seven and eight. A collection of skull gems and some travel photos ended up in the basement when there was no room in the rest of the house.
