And how those two gruesome twosome manage to get so many to say yes is beyond me!  Definitely need a make over.  Hey, Arthur is really cute.  He's going to be quite handsome when he grows up.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Great story I am enjoying reading it. In my dynasty Morgana is my Sims sworn enemy I cannot think why she should be happy I took Thornton of her hands.

Thanks everyone.

Ladylaw 1978 - In Buster’s defense I must say he was a widower at the time but I’m somehow glad they can’t have biological children. A double update is coming soon.

Ratchie - Yeah he wasn’t exactly right for her who wanted five children. Victor also got Thornton as an enemy though he should be happy for a divorce and remarried Jamie.

By the way I hope using the bold dialogue text is okay here, as a Terry Pratchett fan I really wanted to use caps lock for deaths voice but rewrote it when I remembered it’s not allowed.

Two updates coming up, I love how easy it is to take screenshots in this game and I just couldn't chose between the pictures.

Morgana: “This is so strange Victor; I just noticed that it’s an inventing book and not a cooking book I’ve been reading for hours. I wondered why they had scrap metal in every recipe. Wait... you’re not Victor!”

Victor is now leader of the free world and his success seemed to have inspired young men like Ethan Bunch to dress like him. Morgana spent some time in the library to get her cooking skill up. So far they have been living on raw vegetables from the garden and that is no way to raise a child (or to get Ambrosia).

Morgana ages to elder in the art room and doesn’t seem very bothered by it. She still looks good; the white hair suits her somehow.

Victor is not as calm about becoming old. Morgana tries to cheer him up by inviting his six youngest best friends to a birthday party. Miraj Alvi is hiding behind Michael Bachelor and Mortimer Goth is not in the pictures. I thought Blair Wainwright would be older than him but she aged up later.

That is not a happy old man. Victors feels death approaching and he may be worthy to eat ambrosia but the death fish he can catch in not perfect yet and life fruit grows so slowly. Perhaps Arthur can help him with the last part as he is becoming a teen soon.

He is a bit more enthusiastic about his sculpture though, another masterpiece from Morgana. She keeps scrapping statues until she gets the beautifully decorated moodlet and that always means masterpiece for her but not for Victor who got it from every statue of himself and Arthur. The picture of “diplomat extraordinaire” was worth over a thousand.

A sim child can stay out all night as long as they have an irresponsible parent with them so father and son spend some time fishing in town. They speak of the important things in life in Victor’s opinion. He also talks about the ambrosia being the reason they fish so much, not yet mentioning that everyone can’t eat it.

There are suddenly a lot of children and babies in town and there were none when Arthur was born. The famous Crown family must have started a babyboom somehow and two new families with children moved in. Here is Holly Alto with her and Christopher Steel’s cute little spawn of evil Cliff who later became Arthur’s best friend.

Victor arranged a birthday party for his son and asked the two little girls that were invited to dress in formalwear. In the last moment before the birthday cake he decides to go to bed and shows up in his underwear.

The first girl is Tosha Wan who is Pauline and Hank Wan’s child and the blonde one is April Song who is the daughter of Leighton Sekemoto and Anne Song. They are Arthur’s best friends and try to be polite and talk about the house. Morgana tries not to look at her husband who looks far to happy with himself and Arthur is a bit upset since he lost his hair and considers the possibility of spending eternity with a father that is apparently already going senile.

This is Arthur as a teen in formalwear. He got the trait green thumb and will be the family’s main gardener and also read handiness books while Victor learns sculpting. He just caught some bugs and spent two hours just standing there being happy about it. I’m thinking science is the career for him.

Great update.  You know, with death fish it makes no difference in the ambrosia if the fish is perfect or not.  Very good or excellent fish work just as well.  Not sure about life fruit but pretty sure my Sims first dose was not better than Nice quality and it worked just fine.

Ladylaw - I guess you’re right, I just couldn’t stop imagining the real life headlines it would cause like “President naked at children’s party”  :D

Joria - That’s good to know, I wasn’t sure about the fish since I only made ambrosia in the game once before and that family had a lot of perfect fish. The life fruit was the main problem, in my game the ambrosia option refused to show up until there was perfect life fruit both times and I think the guide here also says it has to be perfect.

Neither the death fish nor the life fruit need to be perfect for Ambrosia.  You just need to have both and know the recipe to make it.  No matter the quality of the death fish nor the life fruit, your Ambrosia will come out perfect quality when it is made.  I have made Ambrosia in almost every game I have played since the game was first released, so that is dozens of times made.

Strange it didn't work with normal-excellent ingredients in the sims inventory/fridge when I first tried about a year ago, the alternative showed up as grey until the fruit got better. I had mods installed back then but I don't think any of them would affect that. In this case high quality life fruit came about the same time Morgana finally got to level 10 in cooking and I sold the old fruit so I can't check now without growing new special seeds.

Thanks for the info though, I don't want to use ambrosia in normal gameplay but if I have to restart I will see if it works for me now. I finally got ambrosia in this dynasty as the next update will show.

Arthur spends his teen years watering plants, tinkering with toilets and talking to girls. There are a lot of girls in town now especially since the Neal family here moved in with their teen daughter Chandra and soon had the toddler Jennie and another baby girl.

Arthur: "The cooking channel, how boring! How can you guys sit and watch people burn stuff all day. Now the gardening channel, that’s where the action is."

To get any male friends Arthur has to hang out with children like Rob Burton here. They don’t have much in common so they just talk and watch TV together while Arthur gets his leg stuck in Rob's mothers odd everyday clothing.

Marisol Bachelor (the toddler): Why do I feel like my name should be Cassandra Goth?

Looks like Mortimer and Bella got together and had a daughter in this version of Sunset Valley. Instead of the big Goth mansion they decided to live together with Michael in the Bachelor home. It’s practical for Victor since he can visit three of his friends at once.

Arthur has his adult birthday without a party. He was supposed to be posing in front of all his own statues but he aged up an hour before expected. For some reason the game really wants him bald. That is something I disagree with but he got to keep most of that clothing since it somehow suits him.

*Late edit: I forgot to mention that he also got the new trait handy and the LTW the perfect garden.

Morgana’s cooking skill took a little longer than expected to finish since she had so much else to do and they went broke after upgrading the art museum but finally everything was set for ambrosia. One plate for victor and another for the food replicator is prepared and half-prepared.

Immortality requirements  for generation 1: Victor Crown
1. LTW: Living in the lap of luxury.
2. Career: Politics.
3. Skill SuperMaxed: Charisma. (He also later maxed photography, fishing and sculpting)
4. Properties: Day Spa and Art Museum fully upgraded.
5. Unique Rewards: Opportunistic, No bills ever, Artisan crafter.
6. Best Friends: Holly Alto, Miraj Alvi, Michael Bachelor, Mortimer Goth, Malcolm Laandgrab and Blair Wainwright.
7. Black ops: A charming experiment (Charisma); Charismatic cash (Charisma); Smooth, like verbal butter (Charisma); Paparazzi (Photograpy); Business Up Front, Party In The Back (Politics); Care to make a donation? (Politics).
8. Portraits, sculptures and photos: Young adult, adult and elder.

Most legacy or dynasty kids just have a couple of potential spouses to choose from but as the only young adult man in a town full of girls Arthur has his own harem. The four most promising candidates were:

April Song - Artistic but also neurotic and dislikes children
Tosha Wan - Artistic and also a childish and she loves the outdoors.
Chandra Neal - Neat, grumpy and over-emotional.
Diane Gorman (behind the couch) - Recently moved in with parents and two younger siblings. Has the photographers eye but is also hot-headed and has commitment issues.

The winner of the shiny object is Tosha Wan. She is artistic without any horrible traits to go along with it and has been Arthurs friend the longest. She spent much of her teen years in the house following Arthur home from school and every time she went directly to the sculpting station like she did now. Her other two traits are slob and easily impressed.

They have a wedding with a somehow oddly dressed bride in the familys new art museum. The so called upgrade of the museum is actually just a gigantic plane statue not visible here. Guests are Arthurs friends April Song and Rob Burton and also Tosha's parents. The Wan-no-longer-Goddard couple seem to have overcome their commitment issues and got married themselves. Morgana is very happy to see her only son married, it was her first wish when he grew up two days ago.

Later that night:

Tosha: "Arthur I've been wondering... If your family is so rich how come we are four people sharing three beds?"
Arthur: "Uh, well we only have two bedrooms since dad spent all of our money on that museum... but it's supposed to pay off well so soon we will be able to expand the house and have our own room."
Tosha: "Oh that would be wonderful. It's so awkward now with your parents waiting for their turn to go to sleep outside."

I'm saving up money to make the house bigger all at once but they have to live under these strange circumstances for a while. Tosha turned out to like pink so she got a new set of pink clothing.

Tosha: “They call these masterpieces but the're just trash. Now when I got this boring painting thing done maybe I can finally do some sculpting like I’ve been wanting to do so long. No wait… baby. I want a baby.”

I’ve never seen an artistic sim so uninterested in painting, after spending five days painting in the house she might have had a total of two wishes related to it. Tosha had one thing on her mind since first entering the house and that was sculpting. Now she got two but she will have a mid-life crisis and become savvy sculptor instead of slob as soon as possible.
