Nilla, house looks like a real castle! Entrance coloring is so gentle, and there is so many different rooms in house! What is that in a garden, with violet roof? And museum looks great, and practical! You and others with great spouse museum make me regret not doing it myself.
I read about crashing you have. Only thing I can tell you is to uninstall everything manually, reinstall it again, and reduce amount of CC as much as possible. It saved me after same issue appears, I still had some patterns, hairstyles ad few dresses, but no CC objects.
I love how you did a summary, and pictures showing their supermax activity. Arthur is my favorite! And you did more than half, Nestor did most of his ambrosia requirements! congratulation on that, and great updates, I enjoy reading them!

Anushka, thank you I don’t think I quite managed a castle even if some kind of modern castle look what was what I was aiming for at first since I wrote it as Victor’s personal goal. The thing with violet roof is that sultan’s tabernacle tent that you can buy in travel locations. I guess I have done more than half of gameplay, I just thought of it in terms of 4 out of 8 immortals first.

I hardly have any CC to remove; I downloaded but later deleted a few items when I first got the game and now only have a couple of free items from the store. I will try to reinstall everything if things go really bad, right now I can go maybe half an hour without crashing if I avoid staying in build/buy mode too long. It sort of works to play like that if I remember to save often. I’ll begin with trying to reduce the items in the house and in sim inventories a little now and see if that helps.

Nestor really shows that he is an ambitious guy by starting to work on a Monday and then getting promoted every day that week. He gets a few helpful opportunities like vaccinating the workers at the science facility. He worked so hard he didn't got to know his colleagues well at first but after completing that op he invited them all over at once and made friends with everyone in a couple of hours. He has no special social trait or reward but people seem to like him fast anyway, especially women.

And speaking of the science building, this is apparently where his wedding is going to take place.

Jessica: "Are you the idiot you that planned the wedding party! Why on earth did you decide to have it here?"

Arthur: "Well I'm sorry if you don't like but my father said to choose a nice fishing lake somwhere and this is where I fish."

Jessica doesn’t get along well with some of the family members, partly because of her mean spirited way of verbally attacking people sometimes. The only person who really dislikes her is Maeve though, but that is probably mostly dislike from Jessica’s side since Maeve has gotten a ridiculous number of falsely accused scandals lately.

Maeve: "Oh something is not right about this wedding and I should have remembered to bring some lobster, it's going to be a disaster party if the guest starve."

Arthur: "Well the guest could pick veggies from the trees here. People are so spoiled these days, I survived eating like that half my childhood."

Maeve: "Be that as it may, that is not going to make us more popular right now. What is Nestor wearing by the way? He was told to get a new wardrobe but he must have forgotten about the eveningwear. Even... that girl is better dressed than he."

No matter how she feels about the bride Maeve is a family-oriented sim that can't help being excited about a wedding. The party is surprisingly successful despite the lack of food and entertainment other than Victor telling jokes and Maeve singing travel songs.

Jessica however turns out to be the worst spouse material in the dynasty so far. That she was genius, virtuoso and mean spirited was known before she moved in but her last traits turned out to be snob and dislikes children. Worst part is that her lifetime wish is golddigger (wants to see the ghost of dead rich spouse). Yeah, good luck with that one in this challenge. At least she comes with some good genes for appearance. She likes turquoise so she got a new everyday outfit.

Like it or not, her destiny is to have at least one child.  Snotty, snooty miss that she is.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

Next generation I will make sure to check all the spouses traits before they move in but now there weren’t any other females close to Nestor’s age anyway. Dislikes children is pretty bad but snob is not such a bad trait if aming for charisma skill like Victor (get x number of friends wish can be combined with get x number of rich friends for an insane amount of points) but right now it's pretty useless. Jessica will get a mid-life crisis and LTW-change eventually, I just want every spouse to get fast learner first.

She has time to work on her skill in this generations "honeymoon trip" which has become more of a spouse training camp lately since my game runs so much better when travelling. I even got a real travelling debug; Cleo had been missing her completed LTW icon for a while but permanently got it back the moment they reached China!

Maeve quickly completes two more adventures and gets VISA level 3 and can buy a vacation house in Shang Simla. It means nothing in the Dynasty challenge was but it was sort of a personal challenge for me to reach level 3 and buy the most expensive vacation home in each location.

Cleo finally gets to show of her master moves on the training dummy in a real martial arts academy and she really knows how to kick.

Arthur also tries to fight the dummy but is a little more careful in his approach.

The elderly tourist Cleo easily beats the young locals she competes against in the martial arts tourney but it stopped at level 2 when her next opponent is hired to work in the bookstore and refuses to show up to spar. Her two novices are very impressed though and gain one skill point each in martial arts. Arthur is too fascinated by the fight to notice the attention he’s getting from the local women.

Jessica somewhat unwillingly had to spend most of the trip painting and sculpting in the house and maxed both skills but didn't get many lifetime reward points for it. She is happiest the few moments she gets to be in the limelight and somehow became the first family member to reach celebrity level five.

Congrats on that personal challenge you achieved. I always laugh when they start training with wooden dummies. First few levels are full of funny poses and situations!
When tournament opponents are merchants, you can visit market, and after friendly introduction you can challenge them there.
And congratulation on 5star celeb, mine are still only 3star. Maybe those bad traits had something to do with it? It's interesting that you chose fast learner as first LTR for spouses. I see that they are still in charge of museum pieces so it makes sense, and I admire your patience to do it over and over again with each spouse!

The dislikes children trait is not so hard to work around if you have a lot of people to help out with any babies. The only reason I changed Thornton's hates children trait was because I was fed up of him and Bronte arguing when she aged up to child.
I find the coward trait really annoying with Sims fainting because it is dark. Plus just try getting a cowardly Sim to go fish for deathfish.

You take really great pictures which generation are you on now?

I just bought the Shang Simla vacation house you bought too!  I've been having a blast remodeling it.  I dislike dark, dreary places so I've lightened it up a lot and added some modern appliances and a basement for the hot tub and pool.  Didn't want to ruin the lovely landscaping with those items.

@ Anushka: I tried challenging her on the market but the action kept getting cancelled so maybe I do have a travelling bug. I’m getting tired of every new spouse learning all the skills so I could understand why most people don’t do that and the next generation I will partly give that up and only let the spouse paint with Victor doing the rest.

@ ratchie: She didn't have the coward trait, did I accidentally write that somewhere? I keep getting confused about the immortals traits and it's even worse with the spouse’s original ones. I'm now on generation 5 with Nestor in the story here but in my game I have paused right before the birth of generation 6.

@ Joria: I wondered if you would buy the home called "the Thyme house" just for the name but I suppose this one is better. I hope you have pictures of the house; I didn't do much with it in my game so it would be interesting to see it better furnished.

@: Everyone: Concerning generation six: I paused there because I simply can't decide on a name for what I am guessing is the last male (after over twenty apples I’m pretty certain) in the dynasty, there are just too many options and I tried to think of something associated with music or art but couldn’t think of one. Does anyone have a suggestion for a male name for this generation? With my rather vague name theme would either mean a kings name from a famous legend or from real life ancient history.

What about:

KARANOS m Ancient Greek (CARANUS Latinized)
Derived from the archaic Greek word ‘koiranos’ or ‘karanon”, meaning ‘ruler’, ‘leader’ or ‘king’. Both words stem from the same archaic Doric root ‘kara’ meaning head, hence leader, royal master. The word ‘koiranos’ already had the meaning of ruler or king in Homer. Karanos is the name of the founder of the Argead dynasty of the Kings of Macedon.
