Some questions on imaginary toy

I have 3 sets of twins in this household I'm playing (I wouldn't recommend it BTW. Parents are stressed. I am stressed. It's insanity!) and I have different imaginary toy issues for all sets.

For the newly born twin babies, i haven't gotten a pop up about some distant relative sending them anything in the mail. I get a lot of pop ups about some random sims wanting to get to know the parents so sometimes I just click (x) without reading and I thought I might've missed that particular pop up so I checked the mail when they got home from the hospital and there was nothing. They're only a day old. Is there a chance they'd still get one?

The middle twins, who are now toddlers, got their imaginary toys when they were babies and those seemed to be working just fine at first but later on, one of the toys went missing. I scanned the lot and checked the inventories but I couldn't find it. Then later on, the other one disappeared too. I don't even know what possibly triggered it. I just noticed one day that the nursery floor seemed less cluttered. Is there a way to retrieve the toys?

Lastly, with the oldest set of twins, they only got 1 toy instead of two. So right now in this household, there is only 1 toy for 6 kids. So far, all 4 toddlers play with 1 toy autonomously. Is it possible for more than 1 kid to have a special bond with 1 imaginary toy?

Were the twins born before the mailman arrive or after?  If before mailman arrive and you didn't get the doll, then that is it, no dolls for your twins.  Imaginary friend is not 100%, its only 75% chance a newborn will get it.

Sounds like a bug.  Have you tried resetting your twins?  Maybe when you reset them the doll will go back to their inventory.  Also clear your cache and restart game, see if that helps.

No.  The imaginary doll will only bond with one child, the chosen one that the doll was sent to.

Ohhh...I thought it was automatic that every kid gets one. They were born early morning, around 5am-ish so no mailman yet.

Sounds like a bug.  Have you tried resetting your twins?  Maybe when you reset them the doll will go back to their inventory.  Also clear your cache and restart game, see if that helps.

I haven't reset them. I did reset the dad while he was carrying one of the twins. He was supposed to put the baby down but it got stuck to his hand so he's moving like a normal sim would. You know, how they just make these little movements when they're just standing there. He's doing that but the baby sim is attached to his arm so I reset him. It worked for that. The baby dropped to the floor and I just let him put it back in the crib. I don't know if that triggered the bug but that was the only weird thing I could remember before I noticed the doll gone. The other twin, I didn't reset at all and nothing weird has happened to him as far as I could remember. I've cleared my cache and restarted a couple of times but still no doll. I checked everyone's inventories and the family inventory as well but no doll there.

Oh okay, guess that's the only kid who'll be going through the whole imaginary friend experience then. I was looking forward to see what different things happen with imaginary friends but oh well, maybe next generation.
