Yeah, I could not think of an update title. Fancy that. Off my game a little bit, I guess. Anyway, the very first day of school, Sporty meets Count Butterfly (aka Kellee Eckert) and they quickly get to know each other after school.



Sporty: “The paparazzi, all of the celebrity spam phone calls, and the fact that you and half the neighborhood are vampires. This whole game is going straight to...”
Kellee: “Hey now! Look at the time. I gotta get home for dinner.”
Crazy: “Hmmmmm.”


Kareem “Just die already” Man received a phone call while everyone was enjoying some good Kidz Zone programming. Or was it a phone call? Nope. Actually, Crazy rigged a new widget to emit special ringtones after sensing sound vibrations from a Sim’s butt. So, bottom line — it’s a more pleasant experience for everyone in the immediate area.



Kareem: “Ahhhh...that one was for you, Recipe.”

Yeah, like I need a reason to toss another screenshot of Danica at you. Here’s the deal...I’ve been guilty of not doing very much with other immortal's spouses. Hey, it’s easier. So, since Danica achieved the main task I set her out to do — stock the fridge so that there were 100 total Deathfish — I was faced with 3 clear paths for her. #1) The game gave her the Chess Legend LTW and 5 Logic points. Of my 3 options, this was going to take the most time to complete given she had not even sat down to a chess table; #2) I could swap her Chess Legend LTW and give her the Presenting the Perfect Private Aquarium LTW. Her fishing skill is maxed, so that would be very simple and could probably be done in a matter of 2 of 3 days assuming I gave her the right bait; #3)  Do absolutely nothing with her, change her outfit to hotpants and knee-high boots and have her stand in the middle of the house smiling.

As enticing as #3 was, I opted for the Manly route and put her to work. I shuffled Danica off to the library after I gave her a Mid-Life Crisis to add the Bookworm trait. I’ll have her max Logic simply reading in the Library and then have her start making the phone calls for chess opponents.



Crazy went Crazy with one of his investments, Le Petit Shark Pool Center. After painstakingly positioning all of the inventor’s tables, Crazy relaxes with some fishing.


Crazy: “Stop yelling at me, guys! You'll scare the fish away.”

On the other hand you can tell Metro is a father,put something dangerous like an inventing table  near some water. If Crazy sets himself on fire he just needs to jump in the water. It is very practical.

Crazy Becomes Fully Immature / Sporty Becomes a Young Man

Sporty’s Teen birthday was just a few days away. I wanted to start having her build the Acquaintances she had established the previous week at school with a dancing party. So, she made the call and got in position to dance. Danica maxed Logic at the library and I purchased a chess table and some comfy chairs for her to start calling chess opponents. Octavio Paz was apparently her “Next” chess opponent...



Octavio: “Hello? Paz residence.”
Danica: “Hi, Octavio? This is Danica Man. That’s right, from the fictitious Dynasty game. You’re supposed to be my next chess opponent that I invite over. But, there hasn’t been a first one yet.”
Octavio: “I’m sorry, I don’t understand.
Danica: “Tom clicks on my phone and there’s a bunch of options. It says Invite over next chess opponent. You would be the first. There cannot be a next before there’s a first.”
Octavio: “Yeah, I suppose that’s true.”
Octavio: “Well, do you still want me to come over to play chess.”
Danica: “I guess (sigh). As long as we’re clear on that. You’re not the next opponent. You’re the first.”
Octavio: “Yeah, I guess so.”

Still not satisfied with Octavio’s wishy-washy answer, Danica explained the key conceptual differences between “first” and “next” referencing various examples from books, movies and pop culture. After 3 more hours on the phone Octavio showed up and had his butt handed to him very quickly. Danica proudly boasted, “I guess that’s the last time I’ll see you, Octavio. Hahaha.” Looking confused, he replied, “Huh?” Oh, boy. Here we go again. Briana Atkins was next in line for Danica. She showed up and strolled right past her towards the front door...



“Yoo hoo! Briana! I’m thinking it’s time to play chess now. Yoo hoo.”

Briana quickly fell victim to Danica’s chess might. I kept settin’ ‘em up, and just as quickly, Danica knocked ‘em down. Sporty’s first party was a good success and her relationships with her few school friends went up a bit.

This was kind of funny — Danica’s 7th opponent turned out to be Girly, her mother-in-law. I guess the fact that Girly has never played chess in her life or that she does not have a single logic skill matters in who the game decides to be an opponent!



Girly: “I’ve been meaning to talk to you about the dirty laundry that’s piling up.”
Danica: “Yeah? Checkmate. In your face, immortal. Off you go to do some laundry.”

Crazy does not get out much, so a wish spawned for him to Group Up with someone...



Despite the fact that Queenie was sitting right next to him and they were already talking, Crazy takes the bull by the horns and works up the nerve to ask her to Group Up.



Crazy: “Grandma, would you like to watch some more TV and continue talking just like we were before? But, this time, we’ll Group Up!”
Queenie: “What a wonderful idea.”

2 minutes later...



Crazy: “Thanks, grandma. That was fun. But, could you leave the Group now?”
Queenie: “Hanging out with you really beats going solo. Please give me a call any time to chill.”

Danica achieved her Chess Master LTW by defeating her 15th opponent, Kelley Mendez. She put together the best record to date of any Chess Master I’ve played, 15 - 1. Oh, get this — Kelley Mendez was a vampire. A vampire?! What the...? When were vampires introduced in the game? I’ll let everyone know if I see any more around Sunset Valley.

Well, it was time for a double birthday party. Sporty and her Crazy dad aged up on the same day. I sent Crazy to his cake first. Honestly he did not change much from a Young Adult to an Adult...



...Well, except for the fact of the new hairstyle (which I’ll ditch for his patented Crazy hair) and the fact that the game notice was different — Congratulations! Crazy is now fully immature. Calling Doctor Queenie! Calling Doctor Queenie!



Sporty invited some of her grade school friends over for her Teen aging up party. A couple had already aged up themselves and were in high school. What is the deal with Gandi-Orca? Once again, all he can think about during a birthday party is swimming to the surface to bag the catch of the day.



Now a little more of Danica is showing up in Sporty as a Teen because Sporty’s lips filled out nicely. She’s becoming a beautiful young Man. But, it looks like mom and dad still need to impart a lesson or two in tables manners to Sporty and tell her that plates are to be held parallel to the ground.
