The Man Dynasty 5.0 — This Time it’s for Total Manhood

Last night I had given serious consideration to making a clean break and dropping the Man Dynasty idea altogether. Did I really want to tell the story again? I did come up with a brand new idea. It wasn’t a bad idea, but I also knew it wasn’t as good as the whole Man theme. And to be honest I was really enjoying my Man characters I had developed. I can’t say I’m thrilled about the prospect of repeating so much work with the same Sims, but I also owe them (and Man fans who were enjoying the story) the opportunity to finish the Dynasty and to bring closure to everything.

I am going to change some things here and there to make things new and interesting — not just for me, but for readers as well. Most importantly, I’m going to keep more accurate notes, so mistakes will not be made again. So, here we go.

Dynasty Founder, Recipe Man

Brighter yellow hair, a full beard compared to a goatee, and no glasses makes this Recipe quite a bit different looking than his predecessor. And he’s sportin’ new clothes as well.

Meeting Agnes Crumplebottom

Recipe certainly had the option to not pursue Agnes again and look for love elsewhere. It definitely would have changed things up a bit and added variety. So, I did think about it. Okay, I’m kidding. The thought never even entered my mind not to have Recipe marry Agnes again. It’s not just her money, believe me. Yes, that helps enormously, but her starting level 7 painting skill is just too cool for words. Such a time saver.



Recipe: “I’m going to go out on a limb and say you already know why I’m here.”

Agnes Becomes a Man for the 5th Time

After shaking hands with Agnes, Recipe promptly went back to his lot and wasted no time taking the new relationship to the next level...



“Hi Agnes. It’s Recipe. I was over at your house a few minutes ago. Correct. That guy. Yeah, so come on over to my place—in your Bwan Speedstar—and we can...I don’t know...get married or something?”

The happy couple were married in a small private wedding at 15 Summerhill Ct in Sunset Valley. In attendance were: Recipe, Agnes, the mailbox, trash can, and a brand new easel.



“Recipe: Agnes, my love, I’m so happy. I was hoping you’d agree to becoming a Man yet again.”
Agnes: “You knew I’d agree. You’re just too cute and irresistible.”
Recipe: “Well, enough chit chat, the easel is behind you. I mean...would you like to practice painting, my lover Man?”

You know, Recipe and Agnes have been through several incarnations together - it begins to feel like fate!  Have you given any consideration to possibly making Agnes the founding mother of the Dynasty?  (I mean having the first child)  I sort of feel she's earned it at this point.    Just a thought!

I can't imagine the Man dynasty without hotpants and kissy lips. It would be interesting to see Agnes as the mother figure but that would involve getting her away from sculpting and painting duties to procreate.

I deleted the old thread simply because I don't want it around anymore. I didn't have to call this one 5.0, of course. But, as I said to Simstar3 this is my 5th attempt at the Man Dynasty.

Oh, I see. I missed a requirement for one of my potential immortals (a painting), so it was a fatal mistake and I had to pull the plug.

Yay! So glad the Man Dynasty is back!  I was really enjoying the old ones I'm excited to see where the story goes now!  Thank you for deciding to restart for the umpteenth time - ok not that many times but when you have made it so far and have to restart it seems like the umpteenth time!
