Sim died in adventure world

Hi, my Sim was improving on the speakers on her hi-fi set in her vacation home in China. She was electrocuted and died despite having a level 9 handiness skill. All the items in her inventory (Pangu axe, Teleporter eyes, etc) are gone.......Is there any way I can get those things back?

Oh wow.  That's the first death I've heard of while on vacation.  Was this your only Sim in the household?  What happened with the game when your Sim died?  Did you get some kind of "game over" message?

I have never heard of that either.  Did you by some chance save it before you went on vacation?  Then you could just start from there or maybe an earlier save.  Better to lose a few days than lose so much progress.

If there was another family member I thought they would receive the items of the dead sims inventory, so I assume this was your only sim?
