Thumbnail/Picture Glitch?

My problem isn't exactly the thumbnail...it's the other "picture" of the sim (right above the Lifetime Wish...I don't remember what that's called).

I just made a townie move in with a playable Sim, and now both thumbnails are highlighted and the picture above the LTW is now the townie Sim. It isn't affecting my game as far as I can tell, but I have no idea how/why this happened. Any ideas how to reset it? Thanks!

Have you done a whole reset on the town? If not try - resetsim *
Try going into CAS with testingcheatsenabled true then going back out? Or in CAS try aging them back to their previous life stage the click the undo button?
Found that problems like this can sometimes be helped if you move the household out using edit town and place them back in.

Strange problem, never had it before....
