Create a Pattern Guide

Ahh, it's such a pleasure to get to publish something big for the first time in quite a while. I needed my html fix. It's a little reminder of how awesome things are going to go around here in a couple weeks when Late Night launches.

Twinmum submitted to me a huge guide to the Create a Pattern tool that's offered free from EA. There's a download link in the guide, and the instructions are very well laid out. It's a highly visual guide with a whopping 24 screenshots to help you navigate the tool. So, even the not so creative among you can make something new and interesting.

Another great addition to the Guide!  Thanks so much, Carl and Twinmum.  I tried the Create a Pattern tool when I first got it but got nowhere with it and gave up.  I can't wait to look at the Guide and learn how to use this tool.

Yeah something like this must have taken quite a lot of time. She really rocks for this one.

Thanks guys. I enjoyed writing it because there were a couple of things I hadn't touched on before so it was also a learning experience.
Now if EA would just bring out a wallpaper with 3 equal horizontal stripes of different colours, I could make proper murals.
