With five old ladies living in the same house its getting to be like an episode of the golden girls here in the Smith house. In fact Peridot is the only one in the house who is not eligible for a bus pass.
So our lovely ladies spend their time doing old lady things.

Bronte plays shuffleboard.

Hebe bakes cookies probably.O.K she was making a grilled cheese sandwich but you get the idea.

Sunset has an afternoon nap.

Esk uses industrial machinery to dig a hole. See typical old lady activities.


In other non old lady news Peridot had her adult birthday.

Esk's behavior is really common among old ladies, right?

Esk's version of old lady activities should be more common even if it would lead to a world with a lot more holes in it. I can definitely feel the frustration of waiting for the generation five spouses to die like with thoughts of arranging “accidental” electrocutions, good luck on Jerod being the first to go.

I have not updated in a day or so because nothing is happening. I could show you endless pictures of Peridot fishing or the rest of the family eating and sleeping but that would get get slightly boring after a while.So now I present to you all random screenshot I have taken while waiting for something interesting to happen.


Sunset,Esk,Kumquat,Hebe and Jerod gather in the games room to play darts.

Sunset gets double top.Well she has supermaxed athletics so that is only to be expected. I think dart playing is one of those skills they get better at the more they play. The first time Hebe played she kept hitting the wall now she hits the board.

Igor the new maid has been a naughty boy and is made to stand in the naughty corner. He was told to think about what he had done wrong but he chooses to think of Sunset.

The slightly amusing thing about this picture is the fact that the elderly gentleman who looks like he is stalking the dark haired gentlemen is in fact a level 4 celebrity.It begs the question why is the pap watching a level 2 celebrity. Surely celebrity bludgeons stranger to death in graveyard is a much better story.

Finally something happens!


Everyone in the house except Peridot and Mick go to the local pool. Jerod fixes the hot tub while doctor Kumquat looks on. Remember folks when elderly gentlemen fix electrical appliances in the dark you really should have a doctor on hand.
Thankfully for Jerod he escapes without electrocuting himself.
So I tell them all to get into the hot tub and go check on Peridot and Mick.

I return to see this. I have no idea what happened perhaps the fact that Hebe and Bronte appear to be running away from the scene of the crime,I mean tragic incident,can gives us a clue to what happened.

Grim arrives to take Jerod's soul.

Esk is devastated at the loss of her husband. Hebe and Bronte appear almost indifferent. Some might say that over the years they have become immune to death. Others might say that they needed to get Jerod out of the way so the immortal dynasty did not come to a premature end.

Seconds later they all put on Oscar winning performances.

The Smith ladies have a jam session.

Most young women whilst having their first baby want the calming influence of their mother or grandmother while in labour. Peridot has an abundance of Grandmothers but calming they are not.

After around five seconds the yelling got too much for Peridot so she decided to go the hospital. I sent Sunset with her because she had the stir crazy moodlet. Hey two birds with one stone I was multi tasking.

Peridot and Mick arrive back from the hospital with their baby daughter. Sunset is so happy about being a Great Granny she is literally walking on air.

Hebe proudly holds her great great great great grandaughter.

The seventh generation is named after a colour her name begins with the letter T. I wonder if anyone can guess what it is.
