Lol. Lmao. I liked the passed out guy in China. Do I detect a smidgeon of mental instability in the Smiths? ;D

Just a quick update before I go to bed.

Peridot goes fishing. School and fishing is pretty much all you will ever see Peridot doing.

Peridot invited a school friend over. His name is Teddy and out of the six teenagers she met at school he is the only one who is not a paperboy or babysitter. He probably won't be the future Mr Smith at this stage in the game I need to go for someone older who will die earlier. Mean but true.

Sunset sits down to eat ambrosia for the first time at age 86. I just love Bronte's what you talkin bout Willis face in the background.

My fourth immortal,I feel so proud of me.

Esk ages up to adult and we can see that despite my earlier thoughts on the matter Peridot looks a lot like her mother.

Because of worries that I may not be able to make a simbot I set Esk working on supermaxing the handy skill. She easily completed the ten unique upgrades and maxed the handiness skill. She just needs to do another four plumbing repairs and two electrical repairs and that is that done.

Congratulation on 4.immortal! Bronte's face is priceless, maybe talking to Hebe would make it even better :D
We do have very similar strategies, I also do parallel supermax of handy and inventing at the moment, but I need some electrical repairs to complete it, and I do have place for Simbot, but not shore if that opp will come on time.
Esk looked like her mother since teen! And they are both beautiful, she reminded me on 50-ies beauty with that hair!

Oh how fleeting the life of the mortals. Death comes to take another of the Smith family to its eternal rest.

Rest in peace Laron(Goth)Smith.

Now what you may ask yourself did our grieving widow Sunset do. Did she go into a deep depression mourning the loss of her first and only love? No she did not.

She indulged in some flirting with her son in law. Hello Sunset your husband just died two hours ago.
Just in case anyone is wondering I did not tell them to do this. I panicked slightly when the two of them went upstairs to Sunsets bedroom but to my relief it was only so Sunset could train Jerod, phew!

So what was Esk doing during all this inappropriate behaviour between her mother and her husband.

She was locked away in her inventing shed with just Gnorman the Gnome for company.

Sunset and Jerod show absolutely no respect for Esk by flirting with one another right in front of her.

Now Esk could go postal on her mother and husband but that's not how she rolls.

She chooses to show him just how nice she looks in her undies, compared to her old hag of a mother, and Jerod seems suitably impressed.

Peridot has a birthday.

The family gnomes Gnorman and Gnora join the family for birthday cake.

Peridot gets a new hair do.

For Peridot's wardrobe choices it would have been the obvious choice to go for something sensible and outdoorsy because she spends so much time fishing. I did not go down that route however.
We went for a fifties inspired look.

Everyday

Formal

Sleepwear

Swimwear

I think Peridot looks good in her old lady swimwear sometimes a little cover up is good.

The bra and knicker set are in the young adult clothing section I didn't have them when I first started the game. I have unlocked lots of new outfits I don't know how I did it though. The stockings are in the accessories.

It is mating season in the Smith family once again. In fact it is the final time one of its members will be seeking out a potential spouse as generation seven will not be getting wed.
Eligable men however were thin on the ground. They were either too young or too old. But finally we found someone.

Meet Mick. All we know about him at this stage is that he is an adult.
Peridot worked her charms on him.

She dropped not so subtle hints about liking flowers.

He removed his shirt and she was suitably impressed.

Peridot:Oh my you are so strong and handsome.
Mick:Ooof

Peridot:Pucker up gorgeous
Mick:Um no.

Now Peridot is a Smith and Smith women do not give up that easily so she went home and worked on a new plan of action. The next evening she invited Mick to join her at the local fishing hole.

Peridot:Mick,my darling it seems like only yesterday that we met but I cannot imagine the rest of your life without me.
Mick:It was yesterday that we met.hold on what do you mean the rest of my life?
Peridot:Say you will marry me and come live with me and a lot of old ladies and my crazy mother.
Mick:I accept your proposal my beloved.Wait a minute I don't want to live with a load of people I have the loner trait!

Jerod and Eskarina Smith would like to invite you all to celebrate the marriage of their daughter Peridot to Mick(Some bloke she met at the beach)No idea of his last name.

The bride checks herself out in the mirror. Looking good Peridot.

Peridot is given away by her father.

The bride and groom exchange vows.

First kiss as husband and wife.

The elderly gentleman in the cardigan is Jerod's father which makes him the grandfather of our beautiful bride. Hebe decides to punch one of the guests.

Gnora the gnome joins in the celebrations while Peridot and Mick have their first dance.

Party!

Peridot looks slightly bemused or maybe embarrassed as the older generation throw some shapes on the dance floor.

Gnora the Gnome, eh?  Love it.  The wedding looks like it was a great success and Peridot was a lovely bride.
