I love those pictures of your founder fishing, especially the last one. Nice to see the kiddies playing and making friends in the park.

It’s interesting writing style that you got there, love it! And don’t forget about the pictures! I just love your founder way to save money on the first day and get fluffy bed on the next chapter and then lost her home lol because of rules. That’s really something…

Will read for sure :) !

Third time's a charm and you  finally got a girl. Congratulations !

You got a great family there and the kids are all really cute. I love all the fishing pictures.
I sure don't hope the boys catch a bug when they grow up *crosses fingers*.

Nice chapter.

A question about something else:

Do you have the squinty eye wide jaw glitch in your game? I have it in mine and I'm thinking of weather or not I should play it more or just hold off and hope for a fix. I'd hate for all my sims to end up looking the same, but if it's not affecting the females as they age I don't think it will be a problem for me. What are your thoughts?

I have it in my game for sure, so I keep debating forth and back, should I play some more or should I not, until now my females don't look to be affected.
I played one version of Tamara and Shaowen to test something, there they had a few boys too, and I can definitely say I would rather have had my guys grow up with the looks the test children got.

It's a relief to know that I'm not the only one whose family often winds up on the lawn for more than one generation. Somehow I think it sometimes gives your sims a better start because you can focus on buying the things they need to improve themselves instead of focusing on walls and decorations. The rocket ship is a good example.

I enjoy your sims a great deal!

I am competitive, so need all the points from Pinstars rules I can get + my fulfil the extra goals I set myself, so it was an obvious choice to wait with building. And with all the challenges I did for the sims 3 here at the site I am so used to playing on the lawn, I cant really build stuff anymore :)

I'm thinking that if the females are unaffected, and I bring in selfmade or gallery sims for each gen then I might not have a problem. Right now I'm playing a waiting game...

Yeah I thought so too, then Ciara met Valentin, and I was thinking if I should evolve there friendship... But if he turns out looking like Shaowen (Shaowen looks like he has been hit by the bug from the beginning.) I am really not sure what to do at this point, only good thing is the Sim gurus know it, and said they would look into it. So a question of time?

And later on, a family winds up making more money than you can figure out what to do with, if they're skilling effectively. Writers bring in an insane amount of money as time goes on, so you can focus on the points early on and then build later when you're bringing in more cash. Besides, it's the LOT value, not the house value.

I'm terrible at building, for what it's worth. I've been exploiting Playalot's builds in order to learn more about how to put my own together and still wind up feeling frustrated. I love indoor screen shots, but when it comes to earning the most points, it's easier, as you said, to hold off on building.

It goes without saying that I'm also happy to know I'm not the only one who lost building skill by living on the lawn lol

Yes, time. But how much time? I want to play my sims too! I need a couple of new screenshots and then I have enough for another update. But after that I'm not sure how I will do. When would a new patch come, realistically? November 1st? That's a long time away from now in my opinion.

So, before deciding on what to do I went back to ts3 today. A nice change and I haven't been back in a while.

Will be following the bug report thread on the official forum and checking in with other legacy players before I make a decision.
